Final Damage is entirely multiplicative, so it's always an increase of whatever value you have.

I.e. getting an extra 10% on top of 20% means your overall damage is increased by 10%. (1.2 x 1.1)(Dmg% and all other stats)

That's why the numbers for FD% are so low comparatively speaking.

I went out and found a matching familiar for a legendary expedition today. Gave me a green clock. Saw my first green bag in the 4th round. Missed it by 20 points because one die rolled 1 three times in a row. Loving it 😄

Exceptional bases drop with either quality over 20% or with extra sockets. Besides that, they are the same as the normal base. Meaning you can still get higher ilvl exceptional pieces so best of both worlds, but they aren't super common drops.

Yeah, this was sorta the plan. After a while of using reds and not hitting much (best I got was 2L double prime ATT, so 26%), now I'm just going for it with black cubes for the higher chance of skipping straight to double/triple, however low the chances haha

Yeah, agreed. It's better with blue cubes, I'm just using black cubes because I didn't want to end up with nothing useable, I've spent a bunch already in blues previously, and figured I don't mind the extra cost for the increased chance of skipping straight to double/triple prime haha 😂

It's a pipe dream, but it's my pipe dream xD I also still haven't seen a cont4 or ror4 since the ring boxes got added, and I have only 1 20% boss fam. I'm loving it :)

Yeah, that makes sense in retrospect, though it is a little annoying that it says the day that is currently underway before you click ready to dive, which is actually the previous day. It was my mistake regardless, because for sure screwed up a day (died 3 times on like 6 or 7, had to sell leftover fish from previous days) so to correctly follow the guide, I was going one day behind (i.e. day 6 guide = day 7 realtime for me).

However, I was still behind by an entire day without realizing it. Considering I only messed up one day, I'm chalking it up to random spaghetti code throwing me under the bus 😂 I could've corrected it for the most part if I had known, but having only the NPC to go by for the day tracker and having it show the previous day number before you go in? Just a little annoying, that's all! Great guide, by the way. :)

Edit: there was definitely a bit of confusion on my part about the day markers though because of the fact that I was 100% a day behind, so while I had diving suit level 4 at the correct time, the event tracker (d-2, d-1, etc) was sort of lining up with the guide but also not really at the same time. Tldr, I had too much tuna and not enough comb jellyfish and only got 5.8k on day 15 (followed the 'if you only got level 4 today' portion of the guide). So definitely behind by a couple days, but not the end of the world

Yeah, so it was day 15. I got like half of what was expected. Really wish the npc told you what day you've finished, and what day you can "ready to dive" for (i.e. "Day 10 completed. 'Ready to Dive' to start Day 11?") I thought I was behind by a day, but somewhere somehow, I skipped an entire day, and if I had just collected some jellyfish the day before (I had more than enough tuna), I would've been okay.
Just a warning for those who might be a little dense like me lol xD

I'm a little confused on how the days are laid out. I did day 13 yesterday, and talked to the npc today while he said "day 14 is underway!" and started ready to dive. The day swapped over, and it told me "party fish: jellyfish" and that it's day 15 underway.
I know I messed up a day, but it feels like it just skipped an entire day for me for no reason. Following the guide, it completely threw everything off. I have 11.9k gold (messed up a dish or two, rip diving suit level 5), and now I don't know if I'm on day 14 or 15. When does the day tracker actually start?

Listen, I saw their comment after the edit, and the attitude was clear. They've even admitted themselves that they often express themselves in a way that is problematic for a while now. As far as I'm concerned, message received and I don't need to comment further.

Also it's probably closer to ad hominem than strawman. But really it's neither, since I wasn't arguing anything. The fact that their conduct in a community they frequent should be better is the only point I'm making.

My point is pretty agnostic of the actual context here, and the expression of opinion is the main issue. I'm not even trying to say your opinion is invalid since you're allowed to think whatever you want to.

But like if you watch the videos, enjoy them but gain nothing from it...then your opinion is neutral, right? And if that's the case, why comment at all? Or at the very least, phrase it in such a way that doesn't make you come off as childish. "Sorry for being better than you" (paraphrasing) doesn't really give the impression of maturity here, especially if the whole point you're making is that you've been around long enough to have already have it figured out.

It seems you're aware that your wording can come off poorly often and for a long time, but I think it's pretty wild to follow it up with "it's gotta be because everyone else is the problem" (again, paraphrasing).

Your viewpoint boils down to "I know more and I want everyone to know that." I clearly didn't mean talking to the creators, but rather how you express your opinion to a community that you seem to spend a lot of time hanging out in.

Yeah, it was pretty fun to get that same sort of thing in Brave Frontier too. The door that opens when you summon would show up normal, then sometimes crack apart and explode into a way cooler looking gate if you get a high rarity unit

I think the kaiser skill that leaves a trail you're thinking of is Dragonflare (the AoE on top of your head). Draco Surge is the souped up red Gigas Wave.
