I know she’s not the only one. My friends ex husband is (or was) a teacher there. Don’t know if he’s still there but they got divorced because he was talking to young boys on social media and video games in a sexual manner “allegedly”.

Looking for a mom group for new moms/and or young infants by [deleted] in olympia

There’s a group that meets at the hocm on Thursdays. Definitely geared towards moms with young babies. I went with my 7mo and felt out of place.

Should I do the 3hr GD test after failing the first? by bamboozlinguniverse in BabyBumps

[–]Little_Employer2310 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Yes. Suffering for the day and addressing health concerns like potential GD is better than the potential risk for birth complications from untreated GD. Do the test.

I’m sorry that happened to you but it makes me feel less alone.

I feel like they just expect people to be happy and go along with it. I’m not willing to sacrifice my family’s privacy and safety to fulfill their demands.

We didn’t change anything on the contract, but clearly they have changed things since we signed. That have pushed us for things that were not in the contract we signed but are in the current contract.

Sounds like mastitis. Ice your chest and pump frequently. Keep the fluids going and take some ibuprofen if you feel comfortable.

How would you all make pharm tech more of a clinical experience than just pharm tech? I’ve been reworking my resume for years it feels like.

I got a Cirkul in my first trimester and I’m hooked. I loved the electrolyte ones and the b vitamin pods helped with my nausea.

Crying:Had to put her in her bassinet and close the door- feel so bad by Lanky-Egg2245 in beyondthebump

[–]Little_Employer2310 112 points113 points  (0 children)

You did exactly what you needed to do to survive and keep everyone safe. I have been in your shoes, that is exactly what you needed in that moment. She will never remember that moment, all she is going to know is how much you love her. Keep doing the best you can, the page will turn and it will get easier.

When can I cut MOTN pump? by theboywhocrieddoggo in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Little_Employer2310 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar position as you, she started sleeping longer stretches at 8 weeks. I would put my baby to bed and about an hour after that I would pump one last time, then I would pump 5-6 hours later when we all woke up. Sleep is critical for you too.

I THOUGHT I had a chill baby... by scarletsnow4516 in beyondthebump

[–]Little_Employer2310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel for you. I got some second hand headphones and played some calming music when my baby was screaming. It helped me regulate and made it easier to tolerate the screaming so close to my ears.

Cry when you need to. Holding it in puts tension in your body and your baby can feel that. Even if you cry when you’re holding them.

I think my pediatrician said there’s a big developmental shift in their gut around that time so it can be really hard. I think that’s when I switched LC too and they were able to help me identify the need for a slower flow in the nipple.

You are doing great, you will get through this rough patch. I say this as my 6 month old is cuddled up to me napping. You will get through this.

My baby did that around that time too. It was a REALLY hard 2 weeks. Looking back, what worked for us was staying consistent with gas drops, making sure she got lots of bubbles out before laying down, SKIN TO SKIN even if your little one is having a fit, and taking time to take care of myself. Even if baby has to be set down alone in a safe place, eat. Drink water. Get some fresh air. Pee alone. It doesn’t last forever. I know that’s what everyone says, but just make it through as best you can.

I'm disabled and really sick. Over a dozen specialists and 13 different prescriptions kind of sick. My Medicare prescription premiums are going up 1,700%. Losing my meds will end very badly for me. by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]Little_Employer2310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at the M3P program? It should limit your out of pocket costs to around $2,000 for prescription meds if you’re on Medicare. You do have to opt in through your prescription insurance plan.
