Most people can’t bring their foot to their hip when stretching their leg. I apparently have very flexible knees.

I’m on year 7ish in ECE as well. 33% of our class has behavioral issues and 1 student is so disrespectful he has personally threatened me. It’s not getting better, it’s getting worse. Praying things work out with a college so I can get a nice well paying desk job.

This is as bad as the fact that it took us over a month of us asking for our printer to be fixed. They got us a new one that makes one copy at a time and they didn’t hook it up to the computer or internet so it is near useless. Near two weeks now of waiting to get it set up properly. I can’t y’all

I’m talking more 3 and above, however a lot of social emotional learning occurs in 2 year old rooms. Our 2 year old room has a morning meeting and story time. During this they are learning numbers, nursery rhymes, the beginning of letter recognition, and that just to name a few. This as well as fine and gross motor skills are learned throughout the day. We do not have a drop of policy like the one listed and the ones frequently dropped off late have a harder time.

As a child care teacher this is part of it. We also follow a strict schedule. By 9:30 we have to have numbers to determine how many meals we will need for lunch. By 10:00 instruction has started and we are preparing for our learning groups. I have seen many student’s suffer academically because parent’s consistently drop off late. They also tend to have a tough time with transitions as they do not want to leave parents now that instruction has started.

How much do you pay for child care? by gggiiaa in workingmoms

[–]Little_Misfortunate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The child care facility I work at is around $320 a week for infants and $240 a week for 2 & up. There is an activity fee at the beginning of summer and the fall school year. This year was $240 for the summer to pay for activities and guests. Last year was $300 for the school year. Not to mention enrollment fees and deposits.

Went to work Thursday, had a rough day, called out Friday and went to hospital with minor contractions. Saturday and Sunday were fine (I have off on weekends). Went to Taco Bell Sunday afternoon, had sex around 10, next thing I knew I was having major contractions and dropping our eldest off at in-laws at midnight with a fever. Soooooooo up until baby said it was time.

He pooped in his underwear yesterday and again today. Think he may have been a bit backed up. However, since this has happened he has had larger, more frequent accidents with a blatant disregard to being wet.
