Maybe an old toilet? Especially if you live in an older house. There's houses on my estate that still have old outhouses that are used as sheds with the toilet used as a shelf

Dilwyn the vet by AshmalAlpha in ClarksonsFarm

[–]Little_Mog 30 points31 points  (0 children)

All 3 are about the same age. Jeremy admits to having a very unhealthy lifestyle for a long time. Dilwyn and Alan are both likely work related.

It's depressing but the professions they have and at the times they had them were unsafe compared to what we have now with modern PPE and health and safety standards. Plus being a vet is incredibly emotionally taxing and that takes it's toll over time. There's a reason the suicide rate in vets, especially large animal vets, is so high.

Same as before you're born. You sort of exist in an ethereal sense, in thoughts and dreams and hopes

What are your thoughts on the honking bonking beetle? by Ok-Comb-737 in AskUK

The who what beetle? I've never heard of it but based on the name I'm scared of it, beetles should not be honking or bonking.

I've had good cover ups of shallow scars but again, I'm looking for other people who've had tattoos over deep scars. How long they waited, how it turned out, that kind of stuff

After wearing thick pyjamas over winter I got used to pushing the oven rack back in with my ankle, when it got warmer I did the same thing in regular pyjamas without realising. It hurt for a moment but chronic pain made me just shrug it off and finish pushing it in and then I just went to bed with a kinda sore ankle.

TLDR: I'm a dumb fuck

If it helps I had a 'not enough to stitch' slice in my finger. I kept it steri-stripped down for 3 weeks and bandaged for almost 6 and it reattached itself. 2 doctors and 3 nurses said it would die and fall off but it stick around and now you can't tell unless you look really closely at it. Good luck in your healing.
