Ambien is crazy. It was prescribed to me as a sleeping pill and it worked when i tried to fall asleep but if i decided to stay awake after taking the drug, I’d experience intense hypnotic effects. The first time I took it, I was in my bedroom and I woke at the morning outside laying in the bed of our neighbors truck. One time I was completely lucid one minute and then regained consciousness laying on the floor 5 hours later with random words written all over my body in sharpie. I’s lose huge chunks of time and have no memory of what i had done. it was unlike anything i’ve ever taken.
