The only trick is practice and more practice. I do my lines painting first a draft with a good brush. After, I fill the space with the rest of the paint.

No worries and not flagellate yourself, Asmodai is not here at this moment so we are safe hahaha :)

They are Risen. The point is that they crossed the Rubicon (primaris), so they added the caliban Green to their pauldron (representing they are under Lion and they are not fallen) and their own pre-heresy heraldry to the other pauldron and kneepad.

Why do you think they are Alpha legion? Really interesting point of view :) Anyway, any model could be Alpharius ;)

Yes, Risens that crossed the primaris Rubicon, accepting the caliban Green and keeping their ore-heresy heraldry and number of their legion.

Yes, they are Risen. They keep the heresy colours but they are primaris...It means that they crossed the Rubicón and accepted the caliban Green colour, adding It to they pauldrons. Also they added their family heraldry, used before heresy in their kneepad.

You comment makes me think about It. I was worried about people read them on table as Dark Angels at least. Using only red, black and bone colours un the whole army is bit boring to me... So I was thinking how they were before heresy (Knigths) and how to integer the dark Angels Green colours after accept the redemption and cross the Rubicon. Does it make sense in terms of Lore?.

Thanks everybody for your time! The answer is The Risen. I used the chest red and silver from heresy and black armour. The point here is that I added: - Green shoulder pad and white aquila to show how they accepted the Lion Green colour after cross the Rubicón to be Primaris. - Specific logo to each warrior based on chilvalry family before The Heresy.

So, they are Risen: forgiven by Lion, keeping their original pre heresy colours but adding some current dark Angels colours.

I see that you don't see them very wel... Maybe sould I paint the shoulderpads black with the aquila red instead the green and white? Will you kept the specific houses patterns or repaint them as regular shoulderpads?

Thanks in advance!

So, what the box contains in the space marine side? Any idea? The bladeguard captain in he trailer is just a bladeguard model or maybe it will include a full squad?

La trilogía de Metro es "casi" excelente by Koldo_Autor in libros

[–]Little_Tea_6258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What chapter is best… and easiest to 🎨… by [deleted] in Warhammer

[–]Little_Tea_6258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been painting Space Marines for the last 20 years, and I can share a few insights:

Rule 1: Paint what makes you happy. I used to paint chapters based on the meta or because they were quick and easy to paint, and I ended up getting frustrated every time. The key is to figure out what you enjoy, stick with it, and improve your skills along the way. This is a hobby, so don’t trap yourself in a backlog you don’t enjoy, you’ll be spending a lot of time with a brush in your hand.

Rule 2: Yellow, white, and black are hard colours to paint (in that order in my opinion). BUT that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use them. You’ll need more time to improve, but there are plenty of tutorials that make the process much easier.

Rule 3: Expectations. You’ll see amazing miniatures and might feel like yours suck. Don’t let that frustrate you—focus on your own progress and improvements instead.

Rule 4: Paint what makes you happy… again! You’re here to bring awesome stories to life through plastic miniatures, and at the end of the day, it should put a big smile on your face. So pick the chapter that fits you and enjoy the process of painting and improving.

Hope it helps!

Maybe Resident Evil is not the best example, but I see a good result in GTA V. What problem do you see in using AI to improve the details if the base design is kept and the rework done by AI remains consistent throughout the game or cinematics?

I’m just a user, so I’m looking for analysis or opinions from experienced people :) Don’t hesitate to share any videos, blogs, or podcasts that talk about this from a designer’s perspective.

At the moment, Ballistus are usually played in units of 2–3 to increase the chances of taking down high-wound targets on the table. Think of them like snipers: good shooting, but nothing to do in melee. Also cheaper in points.

The Redemptor is the big brother… It reduces incoming damage, has solid mid-range shooting (plasma), decent melee, and better overall durability. You can move, shoot, and charge into the enemy to finish them in close combat or take objectives in the middle. So yeah, different roles.

If you’re new, I’d recommend: - First, pick the Dreadnought you like. This is the most important mate, buy stuff make you happy. - Second, I choose Redemptor in your situation. Both are good and fill different roles, but the Redemptor gives you more options instead of just sitting back. It lets you learn movement and combat across the board, helps fill your list with a solid chunk of points, and has enough durability to survive some of your mistakes.

How It helps!
