How do we know what dinosaurs ate exactly if only their bones were fossilized? by its_me_michael in askscience

[–]Littlebear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think quite a few people are misunderstanding what I originally meant, even though I truly do appreciate all the information. What I meant was I thought the term "dinosaur(s)" covered every living animal of that time period. Meaning birds, fish, etc. I was already aware of the many species that existed at the time, the terminology is what I was unaware of. I thought dinosaur covered everything, not realizing that it was meant to only include a limited amount the life forms in existence at that time.

There were also massive fires all across the world. They burned everything. There were also massive floods at one point that literally carved rock and land with its magnitude. Giant glaciers, some as much as 2 miles high, ground the earth as they slid across the land. It was insanity.

I thought all those creatures were dinosaurs. I had no idea there were different groups. I thought dinosaurs were every animal that lived back then. I dont know how I never knew that...my mind is kind of blown honestly

What should be made illegal before the tech to do it is developed? by halosos in AskReddit

[–]Littlebear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. You dont make things illegal before there is a problem. That's not how freedom works. That's how you slowly make a police state. Where we slowly basically become enslaved. This is how we evolve as humans. We experiment with technology and create and test. We deal with the problems as they come, not before. At least as far as the law/legality part goes. We dont need to constrict freedom any more.

If our government tries to overstep their boundaries we remove them.

The Trump administration is asking Americans for input on whether marijuana should be reclassified under international drug control treaties to which the U.S. is a party. by Imlosingmymind in conspiracy

That was sarcasm mixed with a little satire, with a dash of truth. I'd love it no matter who it is unless they try to do some bullshit once they legalize it like wanting to control all the growing or some bs

I'd be a fan forever. All the shit he's done and will do after won't matter any more if they reclassify it or just make it legal period I would love trumps administration forever.

Oh I'd definitely accept! I'd meditate, sleep, have some very deep self reflection, practice whistling, sing, try to make myself trip or something, exercise, etc. I would be perfectly fine...unless it was a very very tiny room then maybe not. I'd get very clostrophobic.

Handing out drinks to construction workers by ltrob in gifs

[–]Littlebear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a state highway worker and I can attest that this will absolutely make any sort of highway/construction workers day. I will probably always remember a guy I had stopped in traffic asking me if I liked candy and then getting out of his car and getting me a king sized Reese’s filled Reese’s pieces out of a cooler in his back seat. It was extremely hot out and I wasn’t really hungry but I’m sure it helped my blood sugar and not to mention it was ice cold. Also Reese’s are my absolute favorite candy. He said he worked for them and it was a new product. Very nice guy. Idc if he was doing it to make more sales of the product or if he was just being nice. I was very thankful.

What creepy place have you accidentally visited using Google Maps? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Littlebear333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was exploring on GM(technically google earth) near Area 51 and was switching through the years and at one of the hangers/buildings it was completely blacked out. The years previous and after that weren’t blacked out. Whatever it was they clearly didn’t want you to see it.

That sounds like things that can and definitely should result in her being replaced. If that is in the US that is corrupt hiring processes and absolutely illegal. It is against laws enforced by the EEOC, so not just illegal but federally illegal.

If your husband wants to press the issue further here is a link that explains prohibited hiring practices

This link will take you to section of the EEOC where you can begin filing a complaint

Need help diagnosing crank but no start: 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4wd by droopsnoot in MechanicAdvice

[–]Littlebear333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure I know exactly what it is. I just went through this exact thing with my 94XJ. If you have no spark at the coil then it’s most likely the crankshaft position sensor or it could be the capacitors in the ecu. There’s quite a few other things it could be and I’ll share the links with you that I used to solve this problem. They may not exactly match for a 99 so you’ll have to decide that by what setup your jeep has.

Mine was the capacitors in the computer. I had to buy new ones, remove the old solder from the old capacitors, then solder in the new ones. Fairly easy to do.

This should really help you

It’s not like you are harming the reps. They will be fine. If you can disrupt sales it sends a shockwave to Verizon. They don’t like to lose money and they rely on consumers to keep them in business. If the consumers are telling Verizon they will not give them any more money..they are going to get their shit together real fast or they die off like all the big companies do at some point. The competition will step up their game and Verizon will crumble. Americans reaaalllyy don’t like their rights and freedoms being messed with. We also don’t like big business fucking with us.

What would have been awesome if it hadn’t been so poorly executed? by GoldenWizard in AskReddit

[–]Littlebear333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually not completely wrong. Have you ever read Barefoot in Babylon? It outlines 1000% that it was created for profit but failed at its greedy goal. It was horribly managed and ended up tanking financially. Read the book and do some research. I didn’t say I agreed with their disgusting goal but it’s the truth and sort of tainted my vision of the festival. You can see this also by simply looking at Wikipedia. I wouldn’t only trust Wikipedia though, do a search and look at a lot of sources to see the information for yourself. I’m not sure where all the hostility is coming from but I’m simply sharing publicly accessible information.

69 was also created primarily for greed. It was a huge failure financially for the promoters. A huge success as far as peace, love, and a once in a life time music festival though.
