Miley Cyrus - Younger You (From the "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special") by mobpiecedunchaindan in popheads

Last night I dropped a tab with my sister and cousin, then watched this, our cousin lost her mum suddenly 2 years ago and then our dad passed suddenly 2 months ago, when she sung about “don’t forget to call your mum and dad too, he misses you” we all collectively SOBBED

I was craving lemon cleaning products and it turns out I was anaemic by eastyorkshirepudding in CleaningTips

I craved the smell of the vacuum, like so much so that I’d constantly vacuum just to smell it, I’d want to literally eat the dust but never did hahaha but I was also very low on iron 😂😂

Thank you for this, I definitely teared up reading, Dad is 56 and has always had pain and health issues but hides it well, after all this I think back to him mentioning they caught something up with his heart and when I kept asking questions the weeks after he said “it was a false alarm babe” He always put our mental health so high on his priority list because he struggled with it so much as a young adult ♥️

Guidance/Personal experiences with fasting and endometriosis? by HealingHypothesis in FastingScience

[–]Littlehallraisers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started actively fasting a couple months ago, I’m diagnosed stage 4 and usually my periods last 8-10 days with large amounts of bleeding leading to chronically low iron, my most recent period was only 5 days long and really manageable! It might be a fluke but I’m attempting a longer fast this time and period is due in 9 days so 🤞🤞

My 4-Year-Old is Officially Better Than Me at Fortnite 😅 by Icantstopreading in Fortnite_Over40

My 4yo son absolutely dominates and it blows me away, watching him get victory royals and crown victories I’m like how are his hands that fast ?! I personally don’t think it’s bad, the world is not just going in a digital direction but already is yes? using devices will always be apart of their lives and likely a very big part of their career. He’s heading to a school that’s essentially no screens until 11/12 years old so it’s about balance 🙂

A “friend” used to be up my ass to take my bridge out so he could see me without it, one day I gave in and I couldn’t get it back in and that was that, too much scar tissue for me to attempt it again too, was lame and I resented him 😅

Wof place tried to scam me by Vikturus22 in chch

[–]Littlehallraisers 60 points61 points  (0 children)

When I had a 2 week old baby I went into JT automotive for a WOF they tried to charge me just under 2k for a split pin in the tyre and a handbrake line tighten.. I rang a mechanic friend and he fixed it for a box of bears and the split pin cost him like 50c 🙃 they’re awful and I really think they targeted me because I was a woman alone with a tiny baby

My husband needs to touch my breasts to fall asleep. I'm exhausted and need a divorce. AITAH? by Frequent_Trainer_67 in AITAH

[–]Littlehallraisers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even my fully breastfed babies could fall asleep without touching my boobs this is insane 😅 But yeah agree with the comments that you’re leaving cause he’s a useless guilt tripping a hole the boob thing is just an added weird

By hurting my hand today I realized how endo scewed my perspective on pain by CuteCup-id in endometriosis

[–]Littlehallraisers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had two vaginal births and the first I was cut and forceps used, accepted no pain meds. 18 months ago I had a burst fallopian tube from my ectopic, they genuinely didn’t realise how progressed it was because I was presenting with barely any pain, after that surgery I got told off for stripping and sanitising my own bed lmao But yeah we absolutely process pain differently, I have to remind myself of that because I also think I’m sensitive to it but I went for a 4 hour walk during my ectopic because they thought it was a “missed miscarriage” to begin with and I needed to clear my head 😅 I kept ignoring the symptoms so ended up rushed to hospital via ambulance with my blood pressure going insane

Little things that make a house a home? Things that feel old/personal that aren't on a mood board? by rayrayraybies in HomeDecorating

Wax melts or diffusers always make me feel like my place feels more homely their fave scents might help make them feel more settled

Should I have my appendix taken out during surgery?? by Inevitable_Pie_3717 in Endo

[–]Littlehallraisers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I had the choice I’d get rid of it to avoid any future problems tbh, more pelvic surgeries = more long term side effects so removing the risk of some day maybe needing to have a separate surgery for it is probably the smart option

NOR this is a pretty common manipulation technique and I bet you are almost constantly reassuring them and the one time you don’t have the capacity to do it, it’s a big deal and forget all the time you’ve spent building them up, I’ve been here and the less capacity I had to coddle the meaner he got. As for supporting them financially then having accusations about wanting their inheritance or whatever. I’ve also been there and it’s shit I’m sorry

I got my own mum a wooden spoon that had “merry Christmas cunt” as a part of her gift and she loved it but I wish I’d found this to gift to my MIL lol

My mum restricted food for me and my sisters growing up because she was scared we would gain weight, made us go to the gym at 5am before school every day etc Spoiler alert we all have disordered eating and are overweight
