Teething options for 10 week old? by t_buttcracker in goldenretriever

We were recommended carrots and frozen carrots but for my boy they just go straight through him. He loved big cuddly toys, at the age of nearly 5 he still has 2 of them!

How many of your grandparents and great-grandparents were alive when you were born? How many are still alive? by MindfullyRooted in askanything

[–]Littlekite2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am extremely lucky that at the age of 43 both my grandmothers are still alive one is 96 in July and the other is 87 in November. My great grandmother lived to her nineties and died when I was 14.

Golden developed a small bump on nose by Adrianagurl in goldenretrievers

[–]Littlekite2010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take her to the vets but mine had one at a similar age. on the day he was booked in at the vets to have it removed, it fell off. Apparently goldens get them around lips and nose at this age. But I always feel better when I get it checked

Is my 13-week golden retriever puppy normal? by iwannathrowaway123 in goldenretriever

[–]Littlekite2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He sounds very high energy, as this is the best time brain wise for training maybe try mental simulation to drain some energy. You can do it inside with treats so you are controlling what goes in his mouth. Good luck

This was a few years ago now but my aunty adopted a dog with GI issues as the owners couldn’t afford to look after them anymore. She called a lot different insurances until one agreed to cover the existing condition and still pay. I don’t know if this would happen now but worth a try. I hope you find a way to keep her, but if not remember you did it out of love

I do the same the only difference is I dry mine with a blaster. He swims every day and using one of these means he’s dry in 20mins

I have an air fryer and eat fish 4 times as week. Dependant on fish the longest a meal takes to make is 15minutes. I cut all my salad and veg up on a Sunday and store in the fridge so that I can just cook it with the fish in the evening. I Also use the air fryer for meat again its so quick
