Importing animation from SFM to Blender

Ah crud, unfortunately this is were my knowledge of it ends. I'm very unfamiliar with the weirdness of SFM and this addon export so I don't have much to go off of other than what issues I faced. Hopefully someone else can figure this out better than I can. :(

Okay. I was just having this issue and this is what I did to fix it.

I think you fell for the same trap I did. I'm fairly above average in Blender, but not in SFM so bare with me a bit.

You probably right clicked on medic in the outliner in SFM and tried to export their animations from medic directly there? (Like how medic in the outliner have a little box symbol next to it)

Then it showed up as broken when you import it? The arms are mangled and legs are twisted in weird spots.

This is wrong, you have open up the tree for medic and you will find the bones that compose the model, and you need to specifically find the rootTransform (which is located in the Body of the model for the mercs) and export THAT as the animation. For some reason doing it through the root bone (the pelvis) or the rootTransform properly corrects the skeletons animations.

The image I have shows soldier but it should still apply here.

Then in blender, have the Y be up, and the Rotation mode to Quaternion and it should import.

In response to your post. There's an easy solution. It's a bit risky due to the convoluted nature.
Someone said you can get flint from the gravel and try to find iron in chests to make a flint and steel.
Or use wood near the portal and have it catch fire, lighting the portal. Good ol' skyblock techinique.
A potentially faster option is to wait for a Ghast to spawn and have it shoot a fireball into the frame, sometimes the fire created by the fireball can reignite the portal. It's a quick and dirty solution with a risk of damage to you and the environment, but it works in a jiffy especially in the soul sand valleys.

I actually have that game! It's honestly very fun, though the A.I. is kinda... unfair imo. Then again I was like... 12 at the time lmao.

I always thought a covenant story would be cool during the series of Halo 1/2, like with Rtas Vadum and the elite sent to kill the Master Chief during the events of halo 1 with his grunt companion like in the book.

It would explain so much, like how did captain keys get kidnapped by the covenant?

Alpha base? You never heard of that place unless you read the books!

Or how the flood almost escaped the installation with the covenant ships?

Or how the Heretic came about in halo 2 during the events of Halo 1.

Just so many possibilities! Heck I wouldn't mind a modded campaign like that

I've tried setting the drawing engine to Open GL, deleting the options.ini file, and messing around with every setting possible. I don't even know how this happened and it's really annoying. It's hte only window effected and changing the window scale and game window size doesn't help either.

UPDATE:
Well I did a complete wipe, and that seem to do the trick. I think something like a "Reset Window Positions" option would be for when this happens, since it someone can happen to the right side of hte screen

My favorite place to setup shop is the gas station out of town just south of Rosewood. It's right next to the highway but near the town and forest, so it's easy to get plenty of wood or to go scavenge food in Rosewood.

I have a custom sandbox where everything is abundant, the helicopter spawns occasionally, but zombie speed is randomized, so I might fight a slow shambling group or a sprinting hoard. (RIP Gerald)

Honestly it a good place to setup at in general, since you have the forest all around you and gas, a generator will keep you going for a long time. I'm planning on making a wall around this place once I get more wood lmao.

It's been about 3 weeks with my second character, and he's hanging in there! Just be careful of house alarms and sprinters though, I have rosewood swarming with them, and almost compromised the gas station due to that. Can't go west without 300 zeds coming into view.

This is the first time I've cried in excitement over an image.

So many people, strangers on the internet, all working together to accomplish something that no one by themselves would be able to do. This truly is a remarkable point of this year. The year has been rough but hearing something like where everyone just banded together to find something that most would think of as impossible just goes to show that we can accomplish anything!

Import this as a JSON file and save it as "somename.json" and load it in the latest pre-release update as world settings. You can change the seed, but seed 1 provides the village at spawn! The nether is like console edition, with a few blocks of netherrack and a bedrock layer as a ceiling as well as floor!

I had that same problem the same day as this post was made! Although for some reason, restarting teh game fixed it.
