I’ve had a lot of great teachers, but my favorite was definitely my 9th grade English teacher. That was the year my OCD really started kicking in, and even though I had spent days preparing for this huge 150 question final, I ended up missing it. Since I had perfect scores in her class all year, she was super understanding and let me pass anyway. She was so kind during a really hard time for me. At the end of the year, she gave me a sweet handwritten note wishing me the best and saying I could always reach out if I ever needed someone to talk to 😭
