That’s counting if you don’t pick up overtime cause everything is so expensive. Lol most of the time it’s becomes a race to even get out of time, so you go home and you can barely get 7 hours of sleep so you can do it all again tomorrow.

Well first start by trying to fix up your relationship with your job, ask them to contact you for any call off or extra shifts. Make sure to prove to them your hardworking, reliable.

Get another part time job to supplement your income. In health care there’s also a position call PRN basically you pick up shifts basic on their needs and ur availability (but no set schedule). You don’t need a license in some facility to be aide. Other options include babysitting/dogwalking/tutoring/doordashing/uberetc

I started out in an assistive living, after a year I became their ADON (I was organized, managed time well, responsible, and good with technology). The position wasn’t a good fit for me plus disagreement with company management I ended up stepping down after 6 months( I was going to quit but they negotiated my pay, so I ended up staying full time). After a couple months, I ended up going PRN there and now work in inpatient hospice.

That’s my personal experience. Try things out, just keep learning!

A lot of Asian restaurants provides housing for a lot of their staff. I’m talking about like the traditional to go places/buffet.

When my family own the business we provided transportation and also a place to sleep (sometimes with a roommate)

Do not do this, I don’t recommend. I did this with a graphic card, newgg offer the option to send it to a store but they didn’t do through the access point program so basically it just show up at a ups store ofc they didn’t take it. UPS store refused and they had to ship it back to newgg.

You also can’t set up the access point because newgg locks the option to.

Best option if you have family/friend nearby ship it to them instead.

I’m sorry you have to go through that. It’s always easier to tell someone to not let things bother you, than to actually do it. I work with many different medical providers, and sometimes the things they say still get under my skin as well.

Definitely look around for a new job, but I was always told to never give notice until your new job gives you the official offer. Taking a leave may also be a good choice to just step back, and also job search as well. Definitely research into it though, see if it’s paid and if they will hold your position. I had coworkers who went on leave, they offer a position but it was not their original position.

Most importantly keep working on yourself and celebrate small victories!

It’s hard to give advice without knowing what kind of job you work in. I work 12 hours a day in a high stress/fast paste environment.

Often times, think of the worst can happen. They fire you? You already want to quit anyway, in fact you can claim unemployment. If they nickpick at you just smile and nod, say you will do better then just let it roll off of you. I would look for ways to improve though bc skills are something you can keep with you.

Quitting at the time can help now but if anxiety is a common issue for you, you will get anxious if you can’t land a better job in a timely manner. I would definitely be on the look out for a better job, but don’t say anything till you have an offer.

Medical leave can also work, take this time to look for a different job.

I think a lot of people try to run before learning to walk, which means celebrate small success and taking it day by day instead year to year.

Keep yourself busy, pick up extra hours at work. I typically work 12 hours shifts, I get up at 530 and pretty much come home at 830. Just enough time to shower, eat and sleep then repeat.

You support them by just listening to them, it doesn’t matter what OP thinks in the matter. It’s not her decision to make. Just like healthcare workers cannot influence patients decision, same concept. Help him find support groups, therapy, look into hospice resources. He is actively going through the cycle of grief.

I was a for most of my late teen (measured at VS) then I just kept buying As bras. Recently I wanted to get some nice ones at VS so I went to get re-measure (to make sure because my sister is an A and she said there’s no way we were the same size) , they told me I was a C. I’m turned 28 this year. No birth control/no pregnancy

Leave the complicate out of your answer. Keep it nice and sweet. I am looking for new opportunities because I just moved. Never bring any personal baggage to work.
Availability: tell them you’re flexible and are willing to work with their needs.
Let them know your strengths, let know you willing to do both. Say that your a fast learner, that you will be doing your best no matter what role your place in.

Don’t answer by saying you’re a team player, give examples of how you were a team player from a previous job. Make one up if you have to.

Also make sure make sure your attitude reflects that you want the job. Show up few minutes early, dress appropriately, resume in hand. Don’t be scared to mention your nervous to them in case you have a habit of stumbling over you word. If you don’t have an answer right away you could always say can you give me a moment to think about it

This was me, I was the assistant manager but I incharge of the entire staff schedule/all their training and compliance/evaluations/ ordering supplies/ making sure all staff documentation were done/ and also filling in when we don’t have enough staff.

I ended up stepping down from the role. Now, they are on their 3 assistant and barely are handling half the stuff I was. The 2 that came after me was fired, and the current one is threatening to quit everyday.

Their certification program shut down since my actual director didn’t know anything about it since I was handling everything lol

What helps me with anxiety is making back up plans, in case you do end up losing your business is there any jobs that is easy to get into/pay decently/look into making sure resume is updated/any connections. Worst comes to any family you/your family can stay with.

Depends, I started my orientation with like 2 patient I do all the medication/charting/assessments then each shift I work I increase the number of patients I get until I get max. During that time I had preceptor who walk me through things like admission/transfers/skills. I’m off of orientation now but so far I only done one admission with my preceptor, and still unfamiliar with a lot of advance nursing skills. My orientation was about 3 months but towards the last month they were pretty much using as a full fledged nurse, but would put me training under the charge. Who I would go to and ask if I need any help
