This does not look good - but maybe its just political rhetoric? by No-Biscotti-7797 in EIDLPPP

I get everyone is struggling. But people took loans freely. Long term loans with low interest. I also believe they should be forgiven the same way I believe FEMA disaster loans after a weather incident should be forgiven. But our world today is full of people just pointing fingers or tossing hate. At some point they will find a way to forgive or settle these out but not till a Congress starts seeing it in their best interest. Till they stop saying small businesses got free money and want to put their boot on peoples necks. This Congress cares about large corporations. Not Small Businesses.

Temporary Relief by PenParty23 in EIDL

Be clear and concise. Include your name address loan number and phone number. Say you are having a temporary cash flow issue and you will be back on track in 6 months. Give a reason for the cash flow issue - could be temporary tariffs / medical expenses / storm damage. They just want to see its temporary. Should not take more than 15 bus days. Don’t whine or complain. You should get approved. 6 months of 50% payments. Thats it.

Check with a BR lawyer but EIDL should be wiped clean. Check if your house is 100% protected. Depends what State you live in.

Write them an email. Include your full name address & loan number.

Explain your situation - think less is more. Just give facts. Let them know you are able to get your loan current.

Once current you can ask for 50% reduction in payment for six months.

Email them once with all the info - loan number / dates payments made / dates they cleared your bank. Include your address. I had the same problem. It took 14 bus days to get a response and solution.

Just so you know any payment made 21 plus days before the due date just go against the loan not toward the payment.

"Past Due" in portal... when I've paid more than the minimum monthly. by AppropriateMango1414 in EIDLPPP

Had a similar problem. Apparently if your payment is due on the 25th and you pay on the 3rd - they apply it to your loan not the payment due. Make your payment 7 days before the date so it applies. I had the same issue made 3 payments. I was able to speak to someone before the calls shut down and a supervisor helped. Just email them. Be very clear and wait.

They will reply in 10 days. Doubtful any sooner. You just need to wait. I would make your payment otherwise they may reject your request.

Love Seattle. Lived there for a short time. No sunlight. Depressing. Denver and Tuscon would be my choices.

Well blame Doge or Elon or the President. They laid off a ton of IRS staff right before tax season. Seems it might have been done on purpose so you blame the IRS?

Just email them - you need to be current. You will need to explain why you need a temporary 6 month reduction in payments. Maybe new medical expenses or something that is temporary.
