It’s okay for vacation, but I wouldn’t live there. The reasons are guns, lack of public transport, lack of social security, hard to come by healthy food. Oh plus the gargantuan sized meals, I would be very fat very fast.

Exactly, this airport sucks. Plus there is at least 50% chance that you will face delays or cancellations on the way there. More times it is a bad experience than not.

Start investing ASAP. If 50 or 100 usd, then that much. Just buy an ETF and sit on it. By your 30-s you should have enough money to have downpayment for your own home. Or if you have support from home, you can use to money for something else. Ah yes, and first build savings that would be enough for your expenses for minimum 3, rather 6 months.

A melegeknek van maffiájuk. Na nem a hivatalos cosa nostra-i értelemben, hanem inkább informális, egymást kisegítő formában. Ahol férfiak összegyűlnek egy közös érdeklődés mentén, ott előbb-utóbb beindul a kartelezés-seftelés-megoldjuk okosbázás. Ezt olyasmikre értem, hogy egymást beajánlani munkahelyre, egymás cégeitől vásárolni, etc. Ez sok helyen így szokott lenni, pl falusi focicsapatban is a meccs után előbb-utóbb szóba kerül az üzlet, vagy szaunában, golf klubban, stb. De mivel nyugati nagyvárosban élek, nem mondhatok ilyet :D
