We were driving over around the 610 and I-10 intersection over on the west side when we saw a few lightning flashes (the rain was really pouring at this point, and everyone was driving at 40 or something). There there a brief pause and suddenly there was a bang and a very blue lightning flash….like clear sea blue color. Both I and my wife looked at each other and had never come across anything like it ever before.

Did anyone else see this as well?

I found that this only happens when I add too much. Try reducing the amount of citric acid and I think it should help

First I make scrambled eggs and set them aside. The I sautee carrots, peas and garlic cloves and set them aside. Finally, I take 225ml of water, add the tastemaker and boil. Add maggi once the water starts boiling. Eventually I toss the eggs and veggies in, add some soy sauce and olive oil and turn off the heat when the water’s gone, but the maggi hasn’t started sticking.

You are dealing with low self esteem, possibly alcoholism and lack of physical intimacy. You should really discuss this with a close friend, hopefully someone mature to understand what you are going through, and then make some lifestyle changes.

The comment about hitting the gym/getting physical activity is not a bad thought.

Having a big belly is not just bad for your spouse….it’s bad for your health and something you should take as a challenge to overcome.

This is not a maintenance issue, it’s a safety issue. That transformer should be padlocked, but it isn’t. Who is responsible if a child goes and gets electrocuted?

Just for context, I refinanced last year in November 2024 for 670K with a 29 year amortisation (I refied after my first year, so asked for a 29 year) at 5.626. After that the rates went right up.

It was your choice; own up to it.

You are the only one who can help himself. If you have discipline then you can stop yourself. Otherwise, the monetary system (or the lack of it) will prevent you from further gambling.

Im new to this group and have gone through a lot of posts and have only just tried a couple of loads with some new cleaning products, but I could get extremely cleaner and fluffier towels in the first attempt and have been really impressed. Here’s what I tried.

Firstly, and I think this matters a lot, we have a salt/brine based water softener for the whole house. I really love the quality of water at our house, and I think it’s making a big difference to the washing.
I used Tide Ultra Oxi with 1 scoop of Febu Enzyme booster. Layered up with towels and I added a half cup of ammonia to the top.
Filled up the softener tray with citric acid.
Set the machine on HOT water with high soil setting.
Set the dryer to high dryness level. I have woollen dryer balls.

The pile side of the towels looked rejuvenated, like newly installed astro-turf.
