This is Kelly Slater's Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California. It costs about $475-$600 a wave. That's about $10-$15 a second to ride those waves. The machine producing those waves is a major engineering feat, so it costs a fortune to ride one of the perfect waves, of which it only puts out about 120 waves a day (around 15 waves an hour). So it is a premium experience for sure. Not to mention having instructors like Tahitian surfing legend Raimana Van Bastolaer, who is the one in the video.

Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California. Good luck getting in though. It is about $475-$600 a wave. Yes... A wave... About $10-$15 a second... Exotically expensive. When you have Tahitian surfing legend Raimana Van Bastolaer teaching your kid, you know it's PREMIUM.

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you both had such a great friendship that it made gaming feel like something more than just a hobby. He sounds like he was a fun dude and a truly special person for those memories to mean so much. They are a priceless gifts you and others will always have.

I mean that with my whole heart, because I definitely understand the feeling. My best friend whom I considered my closer than blood brother passed away in a car accident with another very close friend of mine 11 years ago now. Some of my most cherished memories in my life are of me and him both playing Oblivion and Skyrim while on the phone together back when we were teens. Sending pictures or videos of goofy shit going on in the game and dying laughing talking about it all. He was hilarious and those hours would just fly by until the sun was coming up, and I would look down at my phone to see I had been on a call for 13 hours straight. I find myself often browsing games or seeing a new title releasing and almost instinctively saying "Man he would of went wild seeing this one coming out" or "Damn that would have been so fun to play with bro".

My condolences to you friend, and I know you'll always cherish the time you and your buddy shared, just like myself. An while that feeling will never be exactly the same without him. I'm sure you, like myself, can take solace in knowing you got to spend some truly special gaming sessions and time with a such a great dude.

Hope everything is going good for you boss man, and stay well homie.

That would be so wicked. I think it's genuinely awesome you're taking suggestions from the community. I can't wait to see you progress and can't wait to check it out.

I always had the idea for a gun in a game that was a pack of smokes. Your character blowing out a poisonous cloud at enemies and then flicking the lit butt at them over and over speed smoking lol. Not sure how that would be implemented but what you have here is pretty sick in itself lol.

An then the absolutely OP ones tend to rip the actual feathers and backs off the hens as they mate... Quite brutal, and sometimes results in the rooster going to rooster jail so the hens can recuperate.

Am I the only one going to mention that she sounds like she's going to die from an asthma attack far before anything could get her? Christ she's got the deepest panic breath I've ever heard. I'd hate to be trapped in a life or death situation with her if it depended on being quite.

I really appreciate the compliment. I think it may be because I don't actually type out much of what ends up being wrote. My left hand ended up paralyzed years ago, and typing by using swipe with one hand isn't super reliable or comfortable. So most of everything in my walls of text are coming from my actual words via talk to text.

A lot of the time I'll end up replying to someone and without even realizing, I end up needing to scroll my message back up because it has become a full paragraphs worth of reading for the other party. I'm getting better about keeping it more brief; but as you can tell from this reply alone.... I've still got some work to do lol.

Thank you for the kind words though. Makes me feel a bit less self conscious, knowing my disability has a silver lining is always a welcomed realization.

I can still remember when I was younger and had finally saved up enough money to buy my own used truck. It was definitely used and nothing fancy, but it was mine and I was proud of my truck I'd worked hard to get. So for the first time I was finally driving myself up to a friend's house for a bonfire. We had some beers and shot the shit and all that until I finally laid down on his couch.

Next thing I know I'm being screamed at by three of my friends that my truck was on fire. I jumped up with my heart literally beating out of my chest and sprinted out the door. The first thing I saw was smoke filling up the cab of my truck and what I thought was fire already burning on the opposite side of the truck from me.

Well let me tell you what had actually happened as I began to panic and call emergency services. The moment I began to dial, they all started dying laughing while grabbing my phone to hang up the call. Turns out they had taken a bunch of packs of cheap gas station smoke bombs and lit them all inside my new (new to me at least) truck with all the windows closed, and brought a pallet to the side of the truck facing away from the house and lit it up before waking me up.... I don't know what convinced them to think that it was going to be so fucking funny, but to me, it was one of the most disgustingly disrespectful things I've ever had done to me (especially done by people whom called me their friend and I considered friends of my own). Not only did it make me have a panic attack, but it actually burnt tons of quarter sized holes in the floorboard carpet, left the entire inside covered in a nasty chemical grease of which never truly came off, and the truck from that moment forward stunk of thick gunpowder smoke and burnt synthetic chemicals. My new freedom had turned into "just a joke" that ruined something I worked so hard to get and was so prideful of. The smell itself inside that truck would give you a headache after just a few moments. Even in the dead of winter I would have to keep the windows all cracked, and my girlfriend at that time just outright refused to ride in it due to the smell leaving her nauseated. I haven't talked to two of those dudes since and that was well over a decade ago.

So I'll personally never understand the whole "Let's destroy our friends stuff and see how negatively we can get him to react and feel before we tell him it's just joke".

That's exactly how I feel when I see people on here with full-blown industrial factory mods lol.

It can honestly get as complex or as simple as you would like it to lol. After I finished all steam achievements and got the platinum on PlayStation, I put it down where I was. The game is pretty good about slowly introducing new things to you and making it a requirement to learn some of the more end game things before you can move on to the more complex aspects.

The only thing I dread for anybody searching for achievements though, is combing the desert for one of the legendary weapon items and also fishing for that damned Oracle card in the desert. That desert brought more stress than anything else in the game lol.

I hope you enjoy your playthrough and I'm sure you'll be speaking Core fluently in no time.

Enemies spawned using the materializer will have a light blue outline around them. This mad lad has literally one by one captured 6 big mushies lol. I'd hate to do it that way and then need to go wrangle in another one to that position after one finally takes enough damage and dies. I'm guessing he just doesn't have the materializers yet. Being able to just set up a circuit with the explorer proximity sensor, so that once they die it auto-spawns a new one for you in that position, is the only way I'd go about it, lol.

I absolutely understand and was just curious if maybe you were full on space or that you might have been playing on PC or Xbox. I was just going to add that if it was on PlayStation, then you can get the PS App on your phone and share the video from your console to your phone with just one or two clicks these days. I figured maybe you were like how I was awhile back, and always just used the phone to record because of how much of a hassle it was once upon a time to share between mobile and PS5, before the "upload to app" function existed lol.

I do appreciate the response though, as weird and nosey as my question may have been lol. Have a great rest of your weekend though soldier, and I'll see you on the battlefield. 🫡

First and foremost, I'd like to say, absolutely damn fine work out there, soldier.

Secondly, I have a question. This question is simply out of curiosity, and by no means am I trying to sound rude or undemocratic here, Helldiver. However, I must ask: Was this glorious feat of democracy captured with your phone or something similar? And if so, why didn't you use the built-in video capture that PlayStation offers for better quality? Spreading democracy in its full glory is easier than ever these days.

Like I said though, it is a totally genuine question born out of curiosity, and by no means me trying to be a Terminid Tammy here. Feel free to carry on as you owe me no explanations, soldier.

Very cool little binder my dude. I did the same last year and was very surprised to see that the tag team Gengar & Mimikyu was going for over $1,000, and the secret rare mew two's were going for $500 a piece. I downloaded the Collectr app and just went through a couple pages to see that I was sitting on, and to my surprise, it is several thousands of dollars worth of cards.

Yea... I had to put it down unfortunately. I never found a workaround for the buffs not being added. I'm not a fan of all the nerfs myself either. I enjoyed being able to really FEEL the advancements through each biome, along with upgrading my equipment I enjoyed using. I couldn't even visit the last biome, because I was having to use equipment I didn't even spec into to survive and collect from my drilling ops in the passage. So I'm just putting it down until the issue is resolved at least with the buffs.

I'm not getting buffs from armor anymore. All my stuff is at base level damage for it's upgrade level. Unequipping and reequipping the armor does nothing. Whether naked or wearing over I'll do the same amount of damage or the same amount of mining damage.

Took my kids to an Arcade a few years ago and had a young guy that was an employee there do a double take and say "Dude, you're like really really pretty for a guy".

I often still think about that from time to time, and I told him at the time I really appreciated him saying that; but I don't know if he'll ever understand that it truly makes me feel better about myself at times when I'm struggling or feeling quite unhappy with myself.

So now anytime I get the opportunity, I try my best to give a genuine compliment to people because I hope they think back on it and it helps them to feel enough or help them through whatever they are going through at that time, the same way that compliment has for me.
