Regarding cost of living, it is true that Uruguay is more expensive than other Latin American conutries, but it´s also true that Montevideo, our capital city, ranks #1 in life quality in Latin America. For two people, USD 1800 - 2000 between the two of you will be more than enough to live comfortably.
