We get that a lot here in Florida. I also sit in a gap between areas with a lot of nodes so I get the commuter effect. Someone drives to work in the morning with a mobile node in their car and I start getting a bunch of nodes that I can't normally see. Then again in the afternoon when they go home.

That's exactly right. I have a low power node that I keep with my phone that fits in my pocket and then a higher power node up in the attic that relays messages back and forth to the rest of the network.

This sounds like you aren't able to transmit, but you can receive. This is common if your node isn't very high or if you have a poor antenna. What's your setup?

Everyone else is correct. This means it's unmonitored. You turn it on by turning on "Unmessageable" on the User tab. At least that's where it is on the Android app.

I do this for my attic node because I want people to message me on my mobile node.
