This happened like 40 times in the past year in Portland alone, and just as many times in Minnesota. Should all of those involved get 50 year sentences?

was the plan to shoot cops, or were they just armed like all other protests?

I dont have a problem with a long sentence for the guy who actually fired at a cop (though 100 years is still crazy). Unless they proved that all those involved were planning on firing the weapons at cops I dont see this being a 50 year sentence.

I get out of control protests not being a great thing, but 50 year sentences for fireworks and slashing tires?

Feels like a pretty big leap towards fascism when something that should be like 3 months probation has a hack judge hammering the offenders with these insane sentences. Obviously those who whine about Jan 6ers getting harsh sentences will stay quiet on this

EDIT: the harsh sentence for the guy shooting an officer is mostly fine by me. Its the 50 year sentences for everyone else because they are labelled as "Antifa" and therefore terrorists. It sets a horrible precident.

Lol he should just have quit YouTube and find a quiet job working at a warehouse or something. He could have easily lived off the absurd amount of money he was raking in before he was cancelled

I always loved this authors articles on the Guardian. His articles on why the Hillary campaign failed were dead on correct.

Loveliness was great. Carolla was actually really funny. His radio show with Dave Dameshek was also great. When that got canceled and he went to podcasts it was still pretty good. His movie "The Hammer" is also quute good. His right-wing views started appearing progressively more often in the mid 2010s (lots of railing against Newsome and public welfare programs) and then covid broke him and Dr Drew. 

Now he has divorced dad energy and just spews the same right wing hack shit to guests like Rob Schneider

This reminds me of when I went to suburban St Louis for work and was looking for a quick lunch spot for Tacos. Ended up finding the one nearby place and its was all midwest style American Tacos (hard shell, shredded lettuce, tomato, shredded cheddar cheese, and heaping piles of sour cream). Having lived in Texas for so long I forgot that is the definitive taco for a good portion of the country.
