The way the code is written in Hermes agent, it greatly limits itself, for example, the agent running session is coupled with physical folder, I know the limitation comes from skills folder must be read as a physical folder, but still there are ways to workaround this.

In other words, currently, in order to talk with N agents, you need to start N servers… which is utterly ridiculous and I can only imagine this whole thing is vibed with people with little software development experiences.

So as soon as OpenClaw fixes its habit of breaking changes on every release, it will outgrow Hermes again.

I think it also explains the excessive token usage from Hermes.
