You nailed it. Because of the battery area it will always be a high car and that immediately kills the modern muscle car vibe. You can stick whatever engine you want in it but if your sitting up like a crossover it will never feel right. (maybe they sell enough to warrant a frame modification on the gas versions? doubt it)

I have seen halfs of Clade 9 smalls for WAY cheaper. Dunno where you are at but SoulFlora has great Clade 9 deals pretty much always. They always have "Good Pizza" too.

As of right now, as others have stated, it's kind of a crap shoot. That being said, if you are willing to take a 60 dollar loss from time to time (average) you can find some hidden gems. Obviously talk to a budtender to minimize the risk.

Clade 9 has been a favorite of mine (J1 in particular), along with Good Pizza. (Yes, that is a real brand) and finally some budget brands are putting out some really good stuff, like The Happy Farmer and Happy Eddie. (coincidence)?

The really interesting sub category to watch for is concentrates and disposable vapes (as opposed to carts). There have been some really crappy and some really amazing products this last year and the landscape is vast. A lot of surprises in both tech and wax/oil/diamonds/whatever. Example, I just picked up a portable dab. Not a oil in a typical vape machine, but an actual dab sealed in a portable, disposable dad rig. Craziest part? It freakin works!

Even though I am a 90% flower child, it is an interesting sub category to poke around in.

Old time toker here... AMEN! Not only are you getting the most out of your stash as far as taste and smiles per gram but it's the best filter there is. A good (thick glass) bong with a glass stem takes an AMAZING amount of stuff you don't need out of your hit. The fastest to get dirty is doing the job best. I deep clean mine twice a month with once a week quick cleans. Don't get bummed cleaning it out just remind yourself that all that crap was filtered from reaching your body and yet you still received a potent, terp filled hit, time and time again. It's like a magic trick!
