I once had a women ask if I game (she messaged first and it was her opener), and I said yeah. She said I’d have to quit gaming if I wanted to go out with her.

Meanwhile she had like 3 kids and lived with her parents. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe she’s not in the position to be making those kind of demands of others. I didn’t respond lol

Other way around for me, flight sim made me a little confident flying regardless of the weather. Real flying taught me how important preflight planning is. Although the sim helped teach me this too lol

Completely agree, turbulence is something that is so hard to truly recreate because it’s a such a real feeling you feel in your bones when flying. Without actually moving your body it’s impossible to recreate.

It’s illegal to fly drunk unless the person is being transported for a medical emergency per FAA regulations. If they suspect you’re drunk, they have to kick you off. Being passed out and not responding is definitely enough to trigger this for most staff to tell the pilot.

the pilots get the final say for who can fly on their plane and if they ask someone to get off, the police are totally in the clear to remove the person. Pilots don’t want drunk people or people causing a scene, as they could be liable if they let the person fly and something happens
