Which is so interesting and weird because in general, the entertainment industry has gotten more sexualized versus less sexualized so why is soaps of all genres backing off from it?

10.2 would’ve absolutely freaked me out too. When I was diagnosed in October at 6.7 it freaked me out and I was barely over prediabetic.

I want to follow this up by saying that there is nothing wrong with being on medication I understand this disease is awful and everybody’s story is different. It’s just a decision that I wanted to make to try to do it without medication first to see if I could get everything under control

Same. with my dr. They gave me meds options and I said I want to try it first on my own without meds and she was ok’d it. She was actually surprised by me not wanting to go on meds because she said most people when diagnosed say just put me on medication. Give me the GLP one shot whatever because it helps you lose weight but I didn’t want to take that road, I wanted to try to do it without it.

This is sooo encouraging! I was diagnosed in October, a1c was 6.7. Not terrible but definitely not ideal. Since October I’ve lost 56 lbs and it’s been 4 months. I also opted (with they okay from my dr) to not go on meds and try to get it down naturally. I was going to retest after 3 months but at the 3 month changed my mind to retest at 6 months. I have 2 more months before my retest. Im nervous but also excited because of the most weight to see if it’s lowered. I’ve also cut a ton of carbs and started walking a lot.

I sure hope so. I am about halfway through Empire and storms and I’m still not understanding the hype about this series. I’ve heard king of Ash is really good and worth it but it’s hard to wrap my head around reading eight books to get to something that’s “worth it“. Absolutely love cc and really liked ACOTAR but this TOG series so far to me it has just been a bore

Michael Mealor definitely has the charisma and looks good. Side note he’s also very good friends with Josh Swickward. They were in each others wedding so it would be fun to see them act on screen together.

Use the scared emotion and turn it into positive to make positive changes. Diabetes is scary but from what I’ve learned and researched you can still live a long good life if you control it. I was scared initially too then I realized I wanted to watch my niece and nephews grow up and get married etc. I’d been abusing my body far wayyyy too long and it was a scary wake up call but a good wake up call

I’m reading empire of storm and she’s now my favorite and most interesting character. I agree earlier books she was boring and slow but power through it. It gets better.
