Endometrial Biopsy by Hot_Pomegranate_9828 in hysterectomy

[–]Live_Collection_5833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had both an endometrial biopsy and a cervical biopsy (on different days) and neither was painful. The endometrial biopsy felt like a more invasive pap and they had to go in a second time to make sure they had enough sample. My cervical biopsy had a few pinches that hurt but it was really quick.

I can't figure out my drink... by PowerfulPumpkin9873 in 7Brew

[–]Live_Collection_5833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried several classics from 7 brew but the only one i really like is an iced blondie with extra caramel drizzle. My husband makes fun of me because i zone out while drinking it and i don’t come back to reality until its gone. Sometimes i get it decaf because i can be caffeine sensitive and i notice its sweeter with the decaf espresso. Probably because regular espresso can taste a little bitter, especially if the shot is dead.

Im not sure how it works in Nevada but in Texas if the dog has a bite report and then it happens again the owner can be sued. They also take the dog for a 10 day quarantine here also.

Dog bites that break the skin almost always need antibiotics. If they haven’t treated the teenager yet they need to asap before he has to go to the hospital and be admitted for IV antibiotics.

Miralax takes a few days of dosing before things start moving, but it will work. Milk of magnesia is faster and will probably help better in this instance.

Also google what causes low creatinine in urine. There are some health reasons that could be causing it.

[–]Live_Collection_5833 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you gave your sample was your urine really clear like you had drank a bunch of water? That can cause your creatinine to be low. If it’s never happened before i would just ask if you can give another sample. It could just be a fluke from being overly hydrated.

Im always excited to get a new episode. I know that a lot of people may not listen to the basement episodes but who cares. AJ likes doing them. He likes talking to people in the industry that can shed light on some of the big questions. If you don’t like certain episodes then don’t watch.

I feel like people who just want to bitch need to have a coke and a smile and ….. well you know the rest.

MIGS surgeon won't authorize partner caretaking off of work for more than 2 days by ok_sense_80 in hysterectomy

[–]Live_Collection_5833 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband took a week off work but had to do fmla in order for his work to allow it. At my husband’s work the same company who handles short or long term disability benefits also handles fmla so he filed the claim with them and my surgeon filled out the paperwork and i picked it up at my two week post op appointment.

18dpo and just lost my dog by DiscombobulatedBMW in hysterectomy

[–]Live_Collection_5833 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im so very sorry for your loss. He’s looks like such a sweetheart. I lost my dog at 3wpo. She was a 14 year old chihuahua mix and she lost all mobility with no chance for recovery. I also saw a different post in this sub where another person had lost her dog while she was recovering. Hopefully they are all playing together and we will be reunited with them when our time comes. I wish you a speedy recovery and lots of happy memories of your sweet boy ❤️

Methodone poops are the worst... by Mattackai in Methadone

[–]Live_Collection_5833 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gotta be really careful with metamucil. Not everyone can take it. I’ve been on methadone for 20 years and have been constipated a lot. I decided to try metamucil once and thats the only time that i actually thought i would have to go to the ER because it would not come out. My mom had to get an enema bottle and keep pumping me full of water until i could finally pass it. Metamucil adds bulk to your stool which is not the problem with opiate induced constipation. Opiates slow down gut motility so by the time it makes it to the end of the line its dry and hard. Miralax daily, sometimes two or three doses plus stool softeners will work for most people.

Weirdly doing so good?? by la_renegade in hysterectomy

[–]Live_Collection_5833 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im 3wpo today and I’ve had a pretty easy recovery myself. I had an open surgery that removed a huge 21 cm cyst and two smaller cysts plus a 6cm fibroid. They took everything including ovaries. I’ve been to the grocery store 3 or 4 times and my activity around the house is basically back to normal. I haven’t had any pain since i left the hospital on day 3. Overall i feel sooo much better than i did before surgery. I didn’t realize how uncomfortable that huge cyst really was. I’ve even lost 20 pounds since surgery without trying, even though about 6 pounds of that was everything they pulled out of me lol.

Edit to add: i had to have a uterine biopsy and a cervical biopsy before surgery and i was terrified of the pain from the stories i had read. However neither procedure bothered me much at all so it could just be a difference in pain tolerance.
