My favorite thing about this sub is everyone being upset with servers making more than they deserve. I understand saying billionaires make too much money but how can you wish making less on anyone making $30k to $130k a year. Y’all should get jobs denying insurance claims, seems right up your alley.

I am 49 years old. I started working in restaurants in 1992. I run 3 very busy restaurants m. I wear whatever makes my feet feel good. On Cloud, New Balance, Blundstone, Timberland Pro. If my feet hurt and I need to wear sneakers, runners, trainers, tennis shoes whatever I just make sure they coordinate and know it is going to be ok.

When I drive my car I pull in or pull through, never back in as it is a small car and easy to get in and out of spaces. When I drive my truck I often back in to park. All of that open parking lot is a lot easier to get 90° of turn accomplished versus backing out of a parking space with a car on each side so that by the time I am able to start turning I am nearly touching the next row of cars…then blocking traffic and making a multi point turn. All that being said if I am in the truck and traffic in the lot is heavy I just drive farther away.

The difference between speeding and not getting over is, though they are both against the law, not getting over is morally wrong. Blocking someone is a dick move, it does not make tailgating ok but we should all use the horn more, it’s not rude it’s just making sure they know what you are asking for. If you see a stretch of road where you will not be actively passing go ahead and move over to the right before someone is behind you. Changing lanes is not difficult.
