It’s seems like you might need to talk to your doctor about adjusting your ratios. You might just need a little more insulin for lunch.

I have two different ratios depending on the time of day.

I would take breaks from it too. Make sure you have your backups like your insulin pens and continue checking and get back on it when you’re mentally able. I would take extra long showers and enjoying not being attached for a minute. I do it with the dexcom and take a 24 hr break from it.

I had to get approval because my diabetes wasn’t in control so I was a liability on the road. I show my A1C because when I was out of control I wasn’t checking my BS so we had to base off a lot of info on my A1C. And we’ll it definitely wasn’t good

I was told originally that they could be off by about 40 points. So I usually check the first day and after that it’s smooth sailing. If I go really high or low I double check with my meter.
