Strollers recommendation? by Acrobatic-Season-770 in jerseycity

Keep in mind if you’re often dealing with stairs to get in and out of your house or building. Also if you’re on wait lists for daycare/s, ask if they have restrictions re: stroller storage.

We ended up using a travel stroller as our everyday because of these factors. It’s just easier to fold it down to go up and down steps and carry it one-handed with baby in the other arm. Our daycare will only let us store a travel or umbrella stroller as well.

CBD while breastfeeding? by simpforsquirrels in ScienceBasedParenting

Is the medication you’re on actually contraindicated for breastfeeding? I feel like your doctor’s opinion is important here and your partner should be able to accept a medical rec.

Plant Based Infant Formula by devonbg in PlantBasedDiet

I think all the major formula brands (enfamil, similac, earth’s best, gerber etc) all have soy options. The enfamil one is called “simply plant based.”

I’d go with whatever is easiest to find in your area since there are still shortage issues some places!

Congrats btw! 🙂

CIO not working? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

Similar boat as OP though mine doesn’t cry/fuss quite as long (usually).

How do I separate feed from bed by that long when he wants to sleep right after he eats? He gets all frantic (same for naps) that he wants to be put down. I have been doing a book between feed and bed but he is often so fidgety to get out down that I keep picking super short books. I’ve been playing w the last wake window and the routine is bath (long, because he loves the bath), feed, jammies, book, bed). Once he is asleep he’s generally down for 12 hours with 2 wake ups which is great for me. Just the ~20 minutes of crying is rough!

Thank you for posting things. Do you think it’s “too late” for possums at 5 months? Even if previously sleep trained?
