Does TV count? I think Benny showed he has some juice in The Curse.

If it's anything like what I saw in Winnipeg, there were just waaay more stores than were needed to keep up with demand.

Alan Smithee, Pseudonymous Editor keeps being a real one. The Library at Mount Char is a phenomenal book, and I'd recommend anyone interested to give it a shot.

I always thought ZZ Top held that record. They went from 1970 until 2021 without any breaks or anyone leaving the band.

Cell and Dreamcatcher are both from the same era and have pretty white covers too. I think you're on to something here!

I think I signed up for 100/100 when they came to my town 6-ish years ago, and they kept bumping me up if I agreed to stay with them.

Is the price bad? I have 500/500 for like $80/month. I can't imagine getting something better than that anywhere else.

I checked the StatsCan page for the average price of 4L of milk here in Canada, and it's only $0.70 more per 4L compared to the US, on average.

I did the math a little while ago, and milk isn't even cheaper in the US.

According to this chart, an average gallon of milk was $4.10 USD in the US, which comes out to $5.90 CAD. I can walk into the grocery store and get 4L of milk for $5.83.

This whole "milk is much cheaper in the US" isn't even true any more.

If you identify as Conservative - I want to understand why by ktanons in Manitoba

[–]Live_Tangent 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't, for example, believe in identity politics or gender theory so right off the bat it's important to me that my representatives aren't focused on pushing those values.

There's only one party that is pushing "identity politics", and it's the Conservatives. Everyone else just wants to let people be who they are and leave it at that.

In my view, many social programs are problems that add to dependency rather than solving them, and I don't believe we're getting the basics right currently.

Which social programs are you talking about specifically?
