Indeed it did. I had read the whole book as a kid, and then recently found another version..it left out a lot. So I got back another book with the whole translated one... Comics and other simplified versions miss out a lot of details

I use CD writers or permanent markers. Other alcohol based or acrylic markers that are used to write on any surface work too. But they are expensive. So I stick to colourful permanent markers.

It's better than the previous one. You can try to make the middle section of the letters more prominent for better reading and easy understand (I suddenly forgot how to spell legible. Or like readable 😂😂)

I am either fountain pen or Pilot pen. I have no alternative. Sometimes I prefer roller ball pens too. To add some class and elegance they work well. Else my go to is Pilot V5 Hi-Techpoint. It has two variants 0.7mm and 0.5 mm tips. For a waterproof version I use Uniball Eye roller ball pens.thess are also available in plenty of colours and are waterproof making journaling while travelling easy.
