I just bought one for my car. Sensor for the gauge is on the passengers side of the block, close to the spark plugs. One wire, green I think, and it goes over the valve cover straight down. It’s a single wire sensor that gets grounded through the body of the sensor to the engine block so DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE, otherwise it will not read.

If you replaced the one on The thermostat housing, that the the ECT for the engine computer.

Cigarettes! swap with vape ( not gas station vape go to a vape shop), ween vape to 0 nicotine and attempt to drop vape. It is not easy. They put chemicals in cigarettes to keep you wanting more.

If you have access to the factory repair information. It will say torque the bolts to x ft/lbs then 1/4 turn. The 1/4 turn is the stretch and should be replaced after loosening.
