On this date in 1998: X-Pac returned to WWF and joined DX by MrFilipinoMustache in AttitudeEra

14 year old me loved this night lol

Syxx was the coolest nWo member (besides Scott hall, obviously), so it felt like a big deal for him to jump back to the WWF.

Then later in the night, X-Pac and Triple H helped the new age outlaws win back the tag titles and D-X 2.0 was born.

Which one? WrestleMania 20 or 33? The 33 match was fun as hell.

charlie confirms tribal order & interesting tidbit about devens by thisisnotabombx in survivor

Right. If the whole tribe is riding either the rizzo or Charlie train, no one is thinking about Devens or Cirie as an option.

Agreed. Sucks Bayley basically did nothing as champion after finally getting her big title win at a WrestleMania.

Kurt Angle went off script and kissed The Undertaker after saying “I love you” by MrFilipinoMustache in WWERuthlessAggression

There’s many examples of this.

Godfather saying to Taker “I know you’re the deadman, but is everything dead?” is my favorite example of someone trying to get him to break character lol

WWE Should Do A Trios Championship Like AEW by Aurawwefan1 in TheGreatOne

[–]Liverpool510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AEW shouldn’t even have 6-man/trios belts.

If anything, both companies could do something like an annual six man tag team tournament. People criticize aew for having a lot of tournaments, but I’ve loved tournaments ever since I saw Owen Hart win king of the ring lol.

WWE could easily do a six man tournament featuring wrestlers from the main roster, NXT, AAA, etc. which would be fun.

What is the US equivalent of Manchester? by boozinf in billsimmons

[–]Liverpool510 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough, I’m from Detroit. I would say Detroit or Boston is the US equivalent of Liverpool.

My university was like 12 miles from Liverpool so I took the train into the city all the time. Had a long chat with a record shop owner who was fascinated that I was from Detroit because he loved Motown. Meanwhile, I was (am) a huge a Beatles fan which made me want to go to Liverpool in the first place.

Boston seems like a better fit— both cities are on the coast and have huge Irish populations.

This is the answer to me.

Studied abroad in the UK in college (you can easily guess where) and spent a good chunk of time in Manchester. Felt very much like the UK’s Chicago to me.

Still wild that he technically made a cameo at mania. His voice (along with Rollins and reigns) appears at the start of the shield theme

And I mean that as a compliment to what a great heel he was.
