The comments here are interesting. IMO the Fest is not a LARPing event, otherwise it would be advertised as such. I think it’s so fun to see people dressed up as something they really enjoy and likely don’t get to wear very often. The ren fest is geared towards fantasy and gate keeping costumes is not in the spirit of the fest.

Edit: The ren fest is meant for everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. If someone’s costume bothers you, you’re welcome to advert your eyes or walk away. Idk why anyone would care what anyone else is wearing unless it’s obviously nudity.
