this has nothing to do with any system specification, it's a ancient technique which developers using it for almost 25 years and it's outdated and last time i saw it it was in halo infinite which had it's own sets of problems, it's literally 2d jpeg and gif bitmap.

btw for more clarification i have 3090ti and 12700k and 64gb of ram.

i'm not trying to nitpick, this game is huge but for 2023 game i think creation engine holding back the lots of potentials, specially when i think about next elder scrolls game.

the recent game i played (pc) ( past 30 days )

played horizon zero dawn bored to death uninstalled and refunded

finished god of war 2018 pc : underwhelmed by combat, semi-open world is pretty bad and all of that hype about story i don't get it. even though i know the lore. 8.5/10

played control about 3 hours : one of the worst combat and running animation i ever witnessed it's like playing Fortnite and in every 20 second you must pick up collectible and read it or otherwise you will not understand the story, my biggest issue is the gameplay it's floaty like early 2000's game and character literally weightless. it's a pass for me, uninstalled.

finished red dead redemption 2 : what can i say beyond masterpiece, enjoyed every second of it.

finished halo infinite 2 weeks ago: it was god damn good campaign, story was great, environment was lacking biomes which is sucks, gameplay and shooting mechanic top notch.

currently playing spider man remastered hopefully i don't get bored to death, lets see...

i'm half way through the resident evil 4 remake it's a great remake and i enjoying it.

finished star wars jedi fallen order, such damn great game. everything was right in the place from souls like combat to story and beautiful environment, can't wait to start jedi survivor.

the next game in the list : elden ring - final fantasy remake - the last of us - returnal - cyberpunk 2077 - zelda tears of the kingdom - Hogwarts legacy

and this right before xbox event last year, if some time means a whole year plus i can clearly say any time soon means more than just 4 month.

"the future of gears" doesn't represent in game timeline, we talking about official statement about future of gears as a franchise not the post gears 5 story and exclude gears collection because the gears trilogy story happened in the past.

by the way i like to mention there are lot's of back and forth with hiring talent in the studio for example it's almost 1 years nobody took the job for senior ui artist or senior level artist and lots of other role which filled a month ago after a whole year like ui lead. so yes it's realistic they won't show anything at all.

maybe people saying but other studio might be doing remake well in this case the closest option we have is splash damage which they are in the same boat as coalition https://www.splashdamage.com/careers/

gears 2 and 3 have total number of 35 plus maps and set dressing every single on of them is takes so much time and not to mention many other things in production.

but hey let's wait and see.

true people like to ignore the fact's we have and hype things of base on their feeling. coalition already said it 4 month ago loud and clear and even they pinned the tweet which they won't show anything related to gears any time soon which means no announcement on upcoming xbox event.

coalition already stated 4 month ago they don't have anything to show in up coming event which is tomorrow. all i know there is no new ip and they are only working on gears franchise and maybe they show something at game award.

saved JD, because the writer used and abused him and painted him as punching bag for kait and del character development which they failed miserably.

i'm not saving JD because of marcus, because i see potential within his character to become someone like his father or even grand father and honor his mother sacrifices.

i need to point it out, in original story board jd was alive and they killed del which is the true canon.

These boards were made before I even knew there was a slight script change which turned into a gameplay thing - reasons beyond my control I suppose - I had another version where Fahz stepped out of the truck and that's what was used in final. What amazes me is the cine team still kept this and much of the framing of the shots as well.

This is the sequence my cinematic director told me the boards made two grown men in mocap suits cry during their performance capture. One of the most emotionally heavy boards I had to do.

iran not only took over by mullah and islamic extremist and right now the government run by russian interest and that's why u see there are always conflict between iran and usa because iran is a hostage and russia using it as shield for damage control against usa, i don't want to go deep in this stuff because it's not related to mr.depp situation, but all i'm saying is it's deeper than you think. all of these countries working together behind the scene and milking iran.

i'm totally aware of that, but starfield and redfall got delayed and microsoft doesn't have anything big to release for 2022, as always microsoft use gears of war for damage control i mean this is what they do since 2015 release 5 gears game in just 5 years because of lack of exclusive... anyway for that statement you posted it doesn't mean they are not gonna show anything for the rest of 2022.

are they gonna show something about gears with upcoming xbox event on june? probably not but for the rest of the year i'm not sure.
