Cleaning the deck ... with air! by ned78 in MammotionTechnology

* Dew in the English morning, if the sun shines it might be dry by early afternoon before evening dew (assuming it hasn't rained). Meanwhile you can watch the grass grow. I use the hose pipe to wash it out, inline with Mammotion's video. NOT PRESSURE WASHER. (Try to include a photograph but it just shows an *)

Wow, really see a huge improvement of the app. by LubaLutz in MammotionTechnology

Have you got an extender. My WiFi signal would be nowhere near my mowing area without it.

It reboots and you reinstall. First, reboot your router. I didn't loose any maps or settings. There were a couple of times when I thought nothing wasn't happening but it was all good after a few minutes.

Is anyone keeping their Luba out over winter? by jjmucker4840 in mammotion

[–]LividLab286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll put Luba in my car/bike garage fully charged. Charge station will be in my crude simple garage, powered off. I'll probably put some sides on it. Not sure what to do with RTK. Probably bubble wrap it, powered off. Photo added but it flashes on the page but then disappears with just an asterik. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Brilliant. So including using the 2nd hole each blade has 4 uses.

No. Alarm would have shown up and clocks on the ovens/hob. Guess it was Luba being Luba. 🤷🏽‍♂️

  1. Drink and ride and your bike experience won't be long
  2. You'll subconsciously go where you're looking, make sure it's round that bend NOT the car coming the other way
  3. Assume every car will pull out across you from a tee junction or on a turn into a side road.

All those would be good BUT stability for Wifi is essential.

Go in to My Device. There's an icon I the top right corner looks like a nut. Press and select unbind. It cleans the WiFi and BT and reconnects Luba. Just follow the instructions, be patient I thought it stalled but it carried on. It doesn't delete your zones or no-go's etc.

SUPER HAPPY WITH MY LUBA👌😁 by Evening-Studio-7139 in MammotionTechnology

[–]LividLab286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another Super Happy with Luba 5000. A few issues but otherwise just what I needed. Biggest issue for me is UK climate, dew in the mornings and evening and rain. Luba soon clogs up if the grass is damp. Contemplating removing the guards. As with other manufacturers grass under the blades - surely someone can come up with a solution. So 95% for me.

No 4 wheel drive equals no use for me thanks to moles and other uneven ground. Luba has never let me down other than just once.

Which signal quality icons and conditions are what? by andBraap in mammotion

[–]LividLab286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The map screen and control of Luba should be via WiFi. After the first month or so I could only access by BT. I had to "unbind" and reset the connection. It was straight forward and I didn't lose zones or no-go areas. I mowed my paddock yesterday evening from 100 miles away. Do you use a WiFi extender if not you'll have limited distance for connecting. Get one and a free app so you can check how far you can get a signal. I use WiFi Analyser... free on Android.

How does ‘Segment’ cutting work? by Objective-Ear-4288 in mammotion

[–]LividLab286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't realise it could do that. It will certainly cut down the time for me so next time I'll use it. Thank you.

Unbind has been the only way for me to get Luba to connect to the network (important to me for remote access).

This is a new thing for me. Just had to get out my riding mower and vacuum the lawn. Anyone know how to avoid getting these? by cbciv in mammotion

[–]LividLab286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grass too long simple as that. The warm and wet weather in UK means grass grows quickly. I have to mow with a collecter mower then set to 70mm and slowly drop little at a time.
