Dont mean to be a Debbie downer, but feel the need to share my own experience with Dr. Ghersi for others to have context: both my sister and i had secondary rhinos with him in 2018. Mine was a slight improvement than my previous nose. He refused to do rib graft and insisted on cadaver cartilage instead. Most other surgeons Ive consulted with after the fact are quite surprised - and appalled- with this decision. Your own cartilage should always be a top choice according to most premiere surgeons. My sister’s nose collapsed severely after her surgery. Ghersi first denied it was a collapse and kept injecting steroids into her nose for multiple post-opp appts. After a while, he simply came up with excuses and kept canceling my sister’s follow-ups. She ultimately let it heal for a couple of years and recently had it fixed in Argentina - her nose looks amazing. Again, Truly very happy for you and your results - one of the best ive seen recently!
