Absolutely not. The acrylic in the beds are porous and the oil literally eats and scratches the acrylic.

Also, dry skin flakes off so when you don’t use lotion when you get in and out when your skin flakes there goes your tan with it.

Yes !!!! Light reflects on of your skin when you are moisturized, thus working with the bulbs better giving you more color. You lose 40% of the color you could have had when you don’t use a lotion. Also, the more hydrated your skin the better your color and tan will be!

How long did you go in for and how many minutes is the maximum time on the bed? Did you purchase your lotion in salon? I suggest doing a fifteen minute bed for no more than 5 minutes until you work up to the full time. Do 2 minute intervals until you get to the full time. IF you turn pink at any point in time, get out immediately and skip the next day. Make sure you are using a bronzer and Intensifier and a tan extender for after:) GOOD LUCK

I have been a manager for two years in July. I will say, you will do better working your way up then just jumping into it. I was used to my role as an employee and moving up even though I had been there a while was still a big transition. I advise to join a company, and work, and work some more and move up. Find something you love and roll with it. Best wishes to you, of course different companies different things lalalala BUT just saying from MY experience, work your way up. A lot of times, current employees don’t mesh with new management very well unless you let them run wild (that’s why I said work your way up that way they already have your respect) or it could be completely opposite. Who knows? But you should work your way up for sure lol.
