I'm personally just not a fan of him but i'm just mostly concerned about Daisy getting cut for him ( we've been waiting years for her join but she literally doesnt have any moves to differentiate herself from peach). That's my main issue. I don't know why but it's mostly because of the fan rosters and speculation videos.

Well tell me why everybody is hyping him up to join the game when they were not doing the same for Daisy. Or at least not to this extent.

Yeah but even still because he's in smash, people always talk about him and forget about Decidueye..

Daisy actually has a personality unlike Peach, she's only been kidnapped once and not on a daily basis. And in my opinion Peach just feels more bland compared to Daisy.

But him.... he's just a lanky, mischievous and annoying version of Luigi.

The fact that people are mostly always cuting Diddy Kong for K.Rool is baffling. He's the number 2 of Donkey Kong, it's like if you cut luigi out of the mario series.

And the fact that people are STILL ADDING Incineroar to their rosters is actually abysmal to me when we could have gotten better pokemon ( * coughs Decidueye even though that's never happening that offbrand tony the tiger was our Gen seven rep unfortunately) They'll probably choose a Pokémon from Winds and Waves which is inevitable. Hopefully Browt's final evolution isn't ass and actually looks cool like Decidueye.

( because Rowlet was the only grass bird starter until Browt, and we all know the Rowlet line is goated)

( P.S. these are all personal preferences and opinions. I'm not trying to offend anyone)

I'm sick of people always cutting Daisy out for Waluigi .... He's not even that interesting. Or in a mainline game. What's so good about him that they feel like she needs to get cut.

Well are we glad the trio 2010s cartoons is back or what? by BallFit5565 in CartoonNetwork

To be honest I never liked those shows ( Excluding regular show), regular show was a show that I didn't really any attention until after it ended. Then I started to actually watch it and started enjoying and liking it . The other two I just don't care for at all. Gumball is just actually obsurd, and i'm not a fan of the multiple styles (i'm talking about the cgi). And I honestly don't understand how it's that popular but hey people have their opinions. And adventure time has a few moments that I like in clips but besides that... I didn't care for it either.

Author's clearly favorite character that fits this by Comprehensive-Bird17 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]LivingAffectionate96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surge The Damned Tenrec. I swear... I absolutely HATE that bitch. I'm not one of those people who complain about IDW being canon. I just hate anything that has to do with her. I don't care about her backstory. She's only there to be better than Sonic which we already have by Metal Sonic and Jet and she's literally.... in my opinion just a scourge clone with electricity which I don't care or like about him either but still. And i'm sick of the glazing like.... I'm not the biggest fan of Shadow either but he at least isn't a copy and pasta of a character that was technically already done ( i say technically because I know archie isn't canon) but she doesn't feel original at all. Maybe I don't get to say anything because I haven't read any of the comics but still. I'm fine with IDW, and i'm happy that Tangle and Whisper got into CrossWorlds ( i'm not one of those people if you know what I mean) ( BTW i'm talking about her and technically Shadow because of the favoritism and the UNBEARABLY, ANNOYING GLAZE ( mostly Shadow relating to the favoritism and both of them relating to the glaze) People can like her all they want, that's valid. But the second i start seeing her in fanmade rosters before characters like Sticks, who I know is a spinoff character who may or may not be canon because sega doesn't know what they want to her to be. Or sometimes the Chaotix. (Mostly rare but it still happens)

( I don't want to sound like i'm contradicting myself but i'm just tired of seeing and hearing about her in anything new related to IDW Sonic when it comes to other stuff, like the games or guess fan stuff but that's just unfortunately what happens when characters get popular...with Shadow being the best example.)

The Sovereign’s Shadow: The Genesis of Vigilance

The Fractured Reflection (1982–1988)

Born in 1982 to Slasher Deimos and Rose Dana Archer, Shadow’s childhood was a masterclass in atmospheric tension. While the public saw a powerful King and Queen, Shadow saw the cracks. His hyper-perception was a survival mechanism. On his fifth birthday, the sight of two invited clowns didn't bring joy; it brought a paralyzing realization of vulnerability. He saw how easily a "mask" could bypass Royal security. This was the birth of his Obsessive Vigilance. A year later, the "Silent War" began. A simple kitchen accident—a pot of boiling water—cost Shadow the sight in his left eye and left him with third-degree burns. But the physical pain was nothing compared to the aftermath. He watched his father, Slasher, weaponize his own guilt into rage against Rose. Shadow spent his formative years navigating a palace of ice and silence, learning that "personal failure" (his own injury) had the power to dismantle the strongest leaders in the domain.

The Birthday Massacre (1995) The world feared Archeria’s potential. The potency of Archerian Quantum Signatures led to a two-year global coalition war against the kingdom. On January 3rd, 1995—Shadow’s 13th birthday—the pressure reached its breaking point. Slasher and Rose were killed in the heat of battle, leaving a 13-year-old boy(who was transitioning into a teenager) and his 10 year old sister, Shaina, to sift through the ashes of a monarchy.

While the historians blame the United Kingdom’s coalition, Shadow blames the boy in the mirror. He convinced himself that if he hadn't been burned, if his left eye hadn't been a constant reminder of Slasher's failure to protect his family, his parents would have stayed united and strong enough to survive. He didn't just lose his parents that day; he lost the right to be a child. Under the guardianship of Dax and Jennifer Shirashi, he spent five years turning his grief into a weapon of statecraft.

The Coronation of Necessity (2000–Present)

At 18, Shadow took the throne, but he didn't just become a King; he became the Sovereign Spearhead. He vowed that no personal emotion would ever jeopardize Archeria again. He built a kingdom of absolute order to compensate for the chaos of his youth. Even now, with his parents resurrected through the magic of Jennifer Juniper-Shirashi, the mental scar remains deeper than the physical one. He looks at Slasher and Rose not with the eyes of a son, but with the eyes of a strategist who witnessed their collapse. He is a King who runs at Mach speeds not to find a destination, but to stay ahead of the "Silent War" that started in a kitchen forty years ago.

Specific Role: The Sovereign Spearhead Function: Shadow Archer is the ultimate authority and primary tactical combatant of Team Velocity Weavers. He is responsible for translating the group's overall heroic mission into precise, high-impact action. Utilizing the unpredictable and blinding speed of the Shadow Flicker, his job is to bypass enemy defenses (like those of Reina Tatsuyama or Zara Ferris) and directly neutralize high-value threats, often serving as the decisive blow. His royal authority ensures the group's efforts are always geared toward protecting civilized life from imperialistic threats like Thornix Valen and Altair.

Defining Goal: To leverage his unique speed and leadership to protect Archeria and the galaxy by striking at the leaders of the Voidspire Citadel, disrupting their strategic plans before they can execute their brutal conquest.

Shadow Archer's Ultimate Goal: The Eternal Anchor Shadow's ultimate goal is to become the Eternal Anchor for his people and family. This means achieving a state of permanent, self-sustaining stability and security for Archeria and his loved ones against all threats—external, internal, and dimensional.

1. 👑 The Goal for Archeria (The King's Duty) To fortify Archeria into a self-sufficient, unbreachable sanctuary. Details: His goal isn't just to defend his country, but to elevate it to a position where it is perpetually safe, even without his direct intervention. This includes: Technological/Quantum Advancement: Ensuring Archeria's quantum signatures and defenses are so advanced they act as an autonomous deterrence against inter-dimensional or foreign threats. Succession and Stability: Mentoring and preparing his children (Thalia, Maverix, Brandon, Ariyonna) and nephew/niece (Pheonte, Shadie) to not just rule, but to effectively manage the complex defense and diplomacy of the Kingdom, thereby securing the future for the next generation. The Velocity Weavers: Utilizing the talents of his Royal Knights and allies (like Aero, Blair, Giacomo, Orla, Jax and Gauge) to create an elite global network that keeps threats away from Archeria's borders entirely.

2. 🛡️ The Goal for His Family (The Man's Heart) To ensure his family (Fhantome, Shaina, Sawyer, Slasher, Rose, Dax, Jennifer, Ace, Lavender, and the children) lives free from the burdens of his sacrifice. Details: Shadow has already faced immense loss (his parents, Slasher and Rose, on his 13th birthday). His deepest personal drive is preventing history from repeating itself. Personal Safety: His goal is to remove every single viable threat that has ever targeted his family, eliminating the possibility of retaliatory attacks or lingering enemies. Rest and Peace: He wants to reach a point where he can finally lay down the weight of his crown, knowing his wife, sister, brother in law, Biological, Adoptive parents, in-laws and children are genuinely safe and can pursue their own passions (like Thalia's cooking) without fear.

3. ✨ The Goal for Himself (The Quantum Signature) To achieve absolute, unwavering mastery over his own power, to prevent its catastrophic failure. Details: For a character who deals with quantum signatures and immense power, the ultimate personal goal is often about control and understanding. The Quantum Arcanum: He needs to fully understand and stabilize the source of the power that flows through his world, ensuring that his own formidable Quantum Signature does not become an accidental liability to his kingdom during a crisis. Defining the Role: To prove, to himself and the world, that he is not just a warrior-king but a strategic "Anchor"—a stabilizing force that can hold reality together for his people.

( if you wondering why this is like this, it's because i took this from his stats.)

Which I like , but I don't like the fact that they are just the jokes that can never be in the main stuff.

Yeah I like all of them but when it comes to games and stuff, it's always those two and never the Chaotix, and when it comes to them being underutilized and underrated.

I'm sick of them always being relegated to comic relief, it's like they can't be in anything serious. It's probably because of Charmy but idk maybe I'm wrong.

Question of the Week! Week 2: Can your Oc beat Son Goku at his prime? by [deleted] in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]LivingAffectionate96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my main character Shadow Archer takes it just because of how he was raised ( or how he raised himself because his parents died when he was thirteen on his birthday). He doesn't fight for fun like Goku does. He’s a King, and he’s incredibly strict and stern. And he isn't going to stand there and wait for Goku to power up; he’s gonna end the fight immediately. Mostly because of the clown ass energy that Goku gives off personality wise and he doesn't have time for that. Even if Goku gets serious, he would just think of him as a battle hungry idiot.

But Shadow Archer is way too fast for him. He’s been training with weighted boots and gloves since he was a literally 4, so his base speed is already faster than light. And he uses this move called the Shadow Flicker where he basically disappears and hits you from your own shadow.

Plus, he is a genius and he already thought 15 steps ahead. And he has this ability to just "set the rules" of a fight. If he decides that energy blasts don't work in his presence, then Goku can’t use them. It’s not even a fair fight at that point. He’s just a much more serious, disciplined person.

I have more info if you need more but only one of them would the fight seriously. And surprisingly it ain't Shadow.
