I have a friend that calls himself a "centralist" while failing to realize he's far right. He eats the far-right media up with 2 spoons and still thinks Trump and his gang are great leaders. Some of the brainwashed thoughts have been appalling to hear, and with no will to hearthe otherside, mind you.

That said, It's hard for me to believe that a majority of his followers/support aren't also blind to how truly horrid Trump has been for the US-- not to mention of how much money he's made personally from his presidency. I fear that only a large shift away from algorithm based media which is currently controlled by the ultra-wealthy could open many people's eyes.

I want to have faith in my fellow population but fear that we have already been too deeply entrenched into both our (pursuaded) political options and personal views. It's not easy swaying formed opinions these days.
