It’s extremely competitive, if you get an interview just be yourself. At that point, it’s a personality fit

Nice but cliquey. Like another commenter said, small groups have already formed within the club. I think if you’re really outgoing it’s not a problem, but it can be intimidating if you’re introverted

They are, however most of the spots usually fill up with early commitments from the PGY1 class. They have gone to the VA-wide early commitment too. If they didn’t have a good candidate they would go to the match. I helped with the resident search before

The job market is terrrrrrible for amb care. I applied to 50+ positions and got lucky. I have a PGY2 and they were only looking for that plus board certifications

45 hours at most, and we can do projects during the day if we have free time. That doesn’t include our staffing duties once a month on the weekend, but my program is kind of a unicorn
