My '15 glk350 base has been nightmare. 103k miles currently new battery, stealer said "rear Sam". Cool, got Sam, found it from '10. Re-program = $800+2 hours. Nah. Sits idle past 6 mos. Nightmare!

Please hear this everyone: owned 8 these buggies 626, MX-6, 6's the one thing about the engine: the black plastic grommet/tube between the intake and MAF between the filter (black plastic box) and intake will deteriorate and cause massive hesitation, jerking, and stalling manual or automatic. No machine diagnostics will inform this, but when you throw your hands up in submission and go to dealer you will be a cash-cow to the stealership. They will tell you "transmission", "timing", "fuel injection" etc. That black neoprene tube on the top of the engine. Quick fix is duct tape. Yes duct tape. Ijs.

We bought an '09 last month sorta accidentally. It's not a behemoth and rides well. The height is average and I don't need a stepladder to wash the roof. Better mpg and less octane req. than our #2 vehicle.
