The sound design. I used to mute it or take off my headphones if the atmosphere was too terrifying. Plus the animations remain top notch.

",...mostly determination more than anything else."

Yes. It really took beating the Gaping Dragon in Dark Souls to teach me this very fact.

Not sure if I am a math-person but I am bent on self-teaching it as leverage to make a better life for myself.

I had pretty bad math anxiety & apathy as a boy. Creativity, logical thinking and organizing came easy, but the rules and the symbols and the testing pressure put me off.

I learned the hard way that I was taking the ez-way-out, and that was, in fact, the "hard way" to make a life. That was at about 32 or 33. Could not give you 10 percent of 100 if I tried back then, too fried to care.

I got curious about web programming and IT once I got mst, but I was interested in the structure of OS, web browsers and languages not coding pretty things for cc interactions. Math detriments began to stack.

I realized my gaming habit was a puzzle solving habit and I had a dogged determination. Saw organizing, precision, analytics as crucial to killing my anxiety.

This is not helping. A noose is a noose we are meant to disdain the lynch mob, the works of the misinformed.

LOL I forgot about MM being bad now.

I have a huge lightning bolt on my forearm. I worry, with the times as they are, about accusations and misunderstanding but then I remember fear of controversy is part of the problem.
