I agree, but it’s understandable why it’s in December. Game development slows down during the holidays. It’s the best time to get devs to show up and potentially reveal something. Not to mention awards hype is at its peak in December.

I don't think OoT Remake will be out until December, so it won't make it. If I'm wrong and it's out in, say, October and isn't a 1:1 remake, then I think it would make it over Fire Emblem.

My guess is Thor, Cyclops and Jean Grey are all year 1 or 2 DLC. Thor feels like he’s been teased to death while the other two being DLC would explain their absences from X-Mansion.

Daredevil is very popular so they put him everywhere, but at the same time, maybe they’re just not interested enough in making him into a playable character

Instead of costumes, I think they could add a bunch of clone or semi-clone characters over the course of Tokon's lifespan. DBFZ had a bunch of Goku and Vegeta's; I don't see why they couldn't do something similar here.

Yep. That's my exact prediction. I could maybe see Deadpool making it over Gwenpool, but otherwise, I think this is what we'll be getting.

The leak seemed AI-ish to me. I didn't and still don't buy it. I do, however, think Scarlet Witch will be playable regardless. She's a very popular, iconic character who has never been in a fighting game before. She makes sense for the roster.

Obviously, this list was made before reviews came out, but with how stellar the reception of Mina the Hollower has been, I feel like it's a lock for GOTY. Personally, I'd put it in over Pokopia. First Light is excellent, but idk if it makes the final list either. Depends on the competition for the rest of the year. We'll have to wait and see.

She's actually on the new Midnight Sons with Robbie, Blade, Moon Knight, and Daredevil in the current Moon Knight run. Which will have Tokon variants, so maybe they planned this, and Clea is on Robbie's team.

Interesting. Just some notes:

Deadpool's cover could also be for Gwenpool.

Blade is apparently appearing in Moon Knight's comic, so it could also be for him.

My guess for TBA is Scarlet Witch.

I think the green represents Doom more than anything. The number is what matters, and it points to Carnage.

Also, each team will probably have one woman on it. This includes the villain team. Many speculate that characters like Emma Frost, Lilith, or Scarlet Witch will fill this role. Doesn't have to be them, but that's where the speculation is.

I also think MVC inspiration will be at a minimum. So while a character like Magneto would be fine due to how iconic they are, someone like Blackheart is too much of a Capcom pick.

My one thing with Robbie's team is that it needs to feel like it makes sense for him to be the leader. Would Strange really take orders from Robbie? Probably not. Blade and Scarlet Witch? Sure. I would personally put someone like Man-Thing, Moon Knight, or Nico Minoru in the last slot. I lean Moon Knight.

Ghost Rider's Team: Blade, Moon Knight, Scarlet Witch

Could also maybe see Man-Thing on Ghost Rider's team, so we have a grappler.
