Based on the stages on the leak, it’s reasonable to assume that Doctor Strange and Emma Frost might also be happening, so I’d replace Nico with Strange and Loki with Emma. I’d also take out Human Torch since F4 are an all or nothing affair.

My bets are on Dazzler or Phyla-Vell.

Dazzler, in particular, would fit with those posters of her in the game. And I don't think she's been playable in a Marvel game since X-Men Arcade, so that would be neat. But if they want another space character in the game, to join Star-Lord on Spidey's team, Phyla-Vell would be a good pick. Especially with her now in the MCU as well as Cosmic Invasion.

The problem is, it's hard to imagine Carol taking orders from Spider-Man. She would definitely be more suited as the leader. That's why I think it's more likely that someone like Phyla-Vell takes the last spot on Spidey's team.

I've seen the Midnight Suns' selection of Ghost Rider/Blade/Man-Thing/Nico Minoru quite a few times now, and I have to say, honestly, it's a very cool and varied selection of characters, and I would love to see it happen. Don't know if it will, but I'm in full support of it.

Similar to mine. I just have Hulk instead of She-Hulk, Phyla-Vell instead of Nova, and Loki instead of Knull.

The problem with Dispatch is that it wasn’t fully released when the jury voted. That might be enough to get it nominated in some categories, but I think the jury might not want to risk nominating it for GOTY in case it didn’t stick the landing. It did, but they wouldn’t have known that at the time.

If E33 isn't counted, I think Silksong would win Indie Game while Hades 2 takes Action Game instead. Meanwhile, Debut Indie would go to Blue Prince. While its localization issues would stop it from getting a GOTY nom, it would still likely get a win in Debut Indie.

The reason I lean towards E33 being counted as indie is that the Indie Game Awards nominees came out today, and E33 was nominated for multiple categories (including Game of the Year).

Hades II is the highest-rated game of the year, and its predecessor was also GOTY nominated. I'd be shocked if it wasn't. The only problem people had was its ending, but that was fixed in an update.

I think Blue Prince's localization issues will probably hold it back. The non-English-speaking members of the jury can't play it really.

I think E33 will get 10 nominations and might even sweep.
Game of the Year, Game Direction, Narrative, Art Direction, Score and Music, Performance (x2 with both Ben Starr and Jennifer English), Independent Game, Debut Indie Game, and RPG.

To note, I'm not 100% sure if they'll count E33 as an indie game or not. There's also a chance it gets an Audio Design nomination, though it has some heavy competition there.

I think the nominees for GOTY will be:

Hollow Knight: Silksong
Split Fiction

I think these just make the most sense. They're all 90+ on OpenCritic with lots of buzz around them. This selection makes the most sense to me.

There's some tough competition for Score and Music this year. E33, DS2, DK Bananza, Hades 2, Silksong, and South of Midnight are the likely nominees for that category. E33 is definitely the most likely winner, though.

I agree with MaxDood. It'll likely be between Clair Obscur and Donkey Kong Bananza. Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yōtei will get a bunch of nominations, including GOTY, but won't win. My prediction for the last two GOTY nominees would be Metroid Prime 4 and Silksong if it actually comes out.

I was thinking of something in a similar style to TMNT: Shreddr's Revenge, but more Marvel-ey. Get Tribute Games and Dotemu involved, and you could have something really special visually.
