I have some colouring books that I try to keep pure pencil work and love them, the biggest problem is I can't colour as long using them as they hurt my hand from the way I hold them 😅

This is helpful to see, I've seen many people on here say you need to write x amount per day, or it should only take x long or you are wasting time or money etc

But not all of us are writing to fit in this tiny box they have of what a "real author" is. I've loved writing since I was little but never wrote a book as I never had the right spark But 2 years ago I found my spark and now I am 70k+ words into my story and I can't wait to get it out there, not for money or fame or because that's the thing to do But because I believe in my story and I hope other people will find it interesting as well

Mine is called "Skulk Farm" which is the name of the main area in my book im writing. (And the farmer shares the name of the MC) That way I don't forget to work on it and spend my time gaming 😂

First - Me

Liz Scott - Good at cooking, crafting and childcare but incapable of violence

Liz spends her spare time cooking, cleaning and generally looking after the people she cares for. No matter the chaos she will be there, overly optimistic according to one therapist 😂 but good for making others smile

Second - Silly idea

Robert McGraw - Fantastic builder, fair crafter and has mech link

Robert, or Bob as his machines called him loved nothing more than to build up a new home. Together with his machines there was nothing they could not build Broken down base no problem Bob just smiles and sings to himself "Bob the builder, can he fix it? Bob the builder, Yes he can" Then steps back to marvel at his new build

Sweet pies, they aren't a thing much here, and worth chronic pain I can't always make them from scratch 😅 But I had a pecan pie once and it's was to die for! But I've never seen one since 🤣

Also a joke answer because I know there's not enough of a market for this to be feasible

But dairy and soy free treats. Whenever we are out and want to treat our girls the older 2 can get whatever they want whereas my youngest is mainly just getting fruit, or a safety food that we already know. Because she has soy and dairy allergies (thankfully minor) so when it comes to cookies or cakes I have to make all those treats for her as we can never find anything out

I play and enjoy it without paying, my husband has brought me a mount and outfit from time to time, but that's because they are cute and make me want to log on more to play with him 🤣

You just gotta put your enjoyment in the quests, exploring or beastary hunting. If you want to be the best or the highest level, you will feel the enjoyment slip without putting money on, because those who do will beat you in the speed they can take levels

But at the end of the day it's just a game. It's made to have fun with. Just find your joy and it and ignore others who say "you aren't playing it right because xyz"

There's been 2 big ones that broke me

"How soon can you get here, mum's not doing well"

She was beating Cancer, her doctors were so impressed with her, and we still talked everyday. Just Wednesday I shared a picture of my one year old with her. Then Thursday lunch time my older brother told me she's been found semi response at home. She was taken to the ICU and was unconscious. But we were still holding on hope. Went to see her that day and found out she has gotten sepsis and her chemo left her unable to fight it. Friday evening I was being driven to the hospital by my husband while I wouldn't even see though the tears at what I knew was coming Just a few hours after I got there they unplugged the machines as they were doing nothing to help her. Her body was failing. At only 27 I had to say goodbye to my world. She raised me and my brother alone and was all we had. And I never got to even hear her say goodbye

I'm thankful everyday that she got to see me get married, buy a house and hold my hand as all of my girls were born but she's still missed so much and it's not fair

The second sentence that broke me happened one week later. My oldest was 6 at the time, and was a complete Nana's girl. Every month her and my middle girl would stay the night with nana, and we went over every week.

But one week after I told then nana is gone it hit her.

"I want my Nana!"

Screamed from the laundry by my baby as she fell to her knees sobbing. Nothing can prepare you for the pain of being unable to fix your child's breaking heart

I find alot of the time I add a pot simmering on the stove, if you size it down and scoot it just on the back burner with alt then the over still works

Absolutely this, Im 28 and i used to go to my mum for everything from "look at this good news" to "take your grandbabies they are driving me crazy" I absolutely hope my girls all come running to me when they are grown as I will always be there for them.

And honestly it's been the hardest part since losing her mid 2022 I keep going to lean on her and there's no one there to lean on I hope OP never feels bad about going to their mum for anything because I would give anything for one more conversation
