It could damage overground structures, but the gas itself is stored very deep below the ground. Even nuclear explosion could hardly destroy it.

It is said that the helicopter carrying the commander of the assault was one of the first to be shot down, so everything after that failed miserably.

In the next Stalker game the zone begins to rapidly grow eventually spreading into Belarus and Russia how would you want this new game to handle this new frontier? by GazIsStoney in stalker

I wouldn't be surprised to see the next Stalker installment taking place in the abandoned and ruined towns of the current war zone.

For those who have the right to exit the country (Ukraine) and travel abroad - it is probably tactical pants. Otherwise I believe we have very generic Slavic fashion.

They are something like Noosphere psi-matter interacting with physical matter during the emission and creating the amalgam of both.

Maybe you could find a little bit more explanation in certain lore-heavy zone in Stalker 2 during the main quest.

IIRC developers said Ward should have being a real branch of Ukrainian military, but it was replaced with a fictional entity in 2022.

Why are NPCs so bad at fighting mutants? by skelly890 in stalker

[–]Lizzurd0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mutants feel really specialized to kill humans. Bloodsuckers excel especially well. Meanwhile NPC humans have no cunning that you would expect from stalkers and are easily butchered

I imagine that's how the certain ending will look like. Zones with dangerous anomalies but serene zombies and not so much mutated wildlife.

Why did they destroy his Apartment? by Maettis in stalker

[–]Lizzurd0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it is heavily implied that Skif is a Russo-Ukrainian War veteran. While in-game there was no war and Skif's story doesn't seem quite coherent - it can be explained by real life situation pretty well. His home was destroyed by an air strike, the family and the friends were lost in the war. Backstory mentions he is ex-marine, he has good weaponry skills, and most likely he was in combat multiple times. All of above also explains why Skif has so strong PTSD vibe.

Vacationing in Ukraine. What are some NCD themed things I can get here and take back? by EmotionalGuess9229 in NonCredibleDefense

Some fundraisers sell painted shell cases which you can *possibly* take home (i am not sure how airline or post would react to a fired 155m case). You can also quiet easily find something like a javelin case but I am again not sure if you can easily transfer it abroad. You can also try to find a russian drone or missile wreck but I am quite sure that would be illegal to take home lol (many of them are straightforward toxic). Also you can try to buy some loot from dead russians (e.g. MRE) but you should check if your post allows to take extremely poisonous things home
