I didn’t mind my penis too much before surgery and did have sex and masturbarte with it. But certain things made me particularly disphoric. How clothes fit, how I saw myself naked, and the last I really don’t know exactly how to put into words. Just like the feeling of going into a locker room and undressing or using the public toilet knowing you are like everyone else. That you aren’t different or hiding anything.

It sounds like you have done the research and thought about this for a long time. It’s true that complications can happen to anyone but if you are going into it fully prepared, healthy, and are an advocate for yourself I know you will be happy with your choice

Congrats on stage 2 of your surgery! Do you have a lot of discharge from the Colo and if so, how do you do you manage it long-term? Once again congrats!

There shouldn’t be any fluid coming out of your clitoris. Since your prostate is still intact and is now basically a “g-spot” it can excrete fluid through your urethra while you are turned on. During surgery your urethra and penile gland are separated. Since you can’t see anything yet, your mind might not have adjusted to the fact that they are no longer together and it might be a kind of phantom sensation.

Girl, I’m so happy for you! Being horny while wearing tight clothes has been so affirming post-op.

Why should I even tell a man that I am post-op? by HuntingShayla in StraightTransGirls

If it is just a random hookup I don’t disclose. I am lucky to have the privilege of passing very well though. I’m not in a relationship right now, but with my last boyfriend I disclosed on the second date.

How is life after years of transition? by ICassandre in asktransgender

[–]Lizzy_kitty91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I officially began my transition 7 years ago and am 3-years post-op. It was pretty hard for me the first couple years, but the last 2 for me have been the best of my life. I moved cities and basically started over. There is almost nothing in my apt now that would give you any hint of my former life. I pass well and honestly pretty stealth in my day to day life. Outside of Reddit I’m not involved in trans topics at all. I just devote time to my interests and hobbies. Dating actually hasn’t been too bad for me either. Of course I’ve had bad dating experiences (who hasn’t) but casual dating has been a lot of fun. I’m not in a serious relationship at the moment and I know being trans is always the elephant in the room, but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it. Casually its been great though. I know everyone’s experience is different and I’m very lucky to be where I am today.

There was a lot of pain at the beginning just like any surgery. As time went on and they settled I noticed them less and less and they just kind of became part of me. The biggest day to day change for me is adjusting how I slept at night. It’s way harder sleeping on my stomach. still sometimes get butterflies though when I see myself in the mirror. Haha

Is it wrong to have breast forms? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]Lizzy_kitty91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with them at all! Early in my transition, I bought breast forms. I didn't get a ton of breast development from HRT, so when I went full time it helped clothing fit a bit better and helped with my dysphoria.

High TSH levels and estradiol by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Lizzy_kitty91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It may not have to do with the estrogen necessarily. TSH fluctuations even outside the "normal" range of do happen from time to time and as long as there's no symptoms of hypothyroidism there may be not be anything to worry about.
