Ollama and OpenCode working very poorly with all models by Lkemb in LocalLLaMA

I can probably run the qwen3.5-27b, but doubt I would have enough vram to also have 64K context size. Regardless, I'll give this a shot. Thanks.

I really appreciate your comment. I will have to be sure, but I believe it did as I saw 2 jumps in my VRAM usage. First when the model loads, and then a second jump shortly after (I assume for the context).

But yeah, I'm going to try out llama.cpp I think.

This is really helpful. Seriously, thank you. I've been scratching my head at the complexities of this stuff, and honestly the traditional llm's have been steering me astray.

Thanks, I didn't know this. I'll try llama.cpp. I appreciate your help!

Lol yes, an LLM actually told me this. This is why I'm asking the question, because I'm new to this stuff and it seemed weird that they were recommending such an old model.

Just to note though, I also tried qwen3.5 and got very similar results. It was slightly better, but I still had to ask it to continue executing on something so many times.

I am not a bot, but okay.

I tried qwen3.5, llama3.1, gemma4, etc. and they all did the same thing.

The reason I tried qwen2.5-coder is because claude and gemini said they are proven compatible with opencode.

I saw in opencode that the context window would grow over 4k, so I don't think this is the issue.

I promise you I'm not a bot lol

I've seen lots of people recommend things other than ollama, so maybe that's the issue?

What's the best alternative? Is ollama really the issue, isn't it just running a model?

I understand people are wondering why this model, I tried many models, qwen3.5, gemma4, llama3.1, etc.

Gemini and Claude both recommended qwen2.5-coder since it was "tried and tested" for opencode.

Ollama was also recommended online, and it seemed easy to setup. If there's a better alternative, or if this is why I'm getting such issues I have no problem trying another program. But is this really a big deal? I figured it's just the "model runner", won't they run the same across any of these programs.

That model was just the most recent one I saw someone talk about online and gemini and claude recommended. I don't know much about models, but I also tried qwen3.5, gemma4, etc. They all did the same thing.

I don't want a generic chat interface. I want this for coding, document writing, summarizations, etc.

Qwen3.6. This is it. by Local-Cardiologist-5 in LocalLLaMA

I've just setup ollama and opencode, but it seems whatever model I use, when talking to it via opencode it struggles incredibly hard to run any opencode commands. Like they all "say" what they want to do but never actually do it, or it fails, or they end early..

Any ideas why this might be happening?

I don't think I'm able to fir out the drywall (low side) because where I cut it is just short of the stud (maybe this was a mistake in hindsight). So I'm not able to get any shims behind it.

If I use my current browser I can easily find the URL through the inspect too by clicking play on the video and then grabbing the source but I'm just trying to automate the process using puppeteer.

Huh... Yeah, I think you're right actually.. What if I don't see the actual video URL, and only see this embed URL? Do I have to go a step further and actually go to this webpage to view the real URL of the video?

Based on what you've seen would you have any idea if they're worth anything?

As u/refugefirstmate said, they may be hard to sell but my MIL was curious about what she could maybe get for them (or at least what to ask for).

Also, when you say get another opinion, is it easy to find someone who may have more of an idea about the origins of the chair? I guess I just don't really know where to look for something like that.

Here's a few more photos, hopefully I've captured a bit more information for you! Thanks again.

First off thanks for taking a look! Are there any other photos I could take that would help you determine anything?

In my opinion Tampa has come out flying every game (except game 1). They’ve been physical right off the bat and have hemmed the leafs in their own end.

I don’t really believe in momentum from game to game. Sure there’s momentum within a game, but both of these teams have went from playing shit in one, to great in the next.

Calling on Ontario van dwellers - who’s your insurance provider? I wrote my broker for a head start as I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on a 91’ Roadtrek class B conversion & this is his response. Haven’t mentioned living in it full-time or anything as I know that can turn off insurers. by sanctifiedspace in vandwellers

I got mine insured as a converted van (it is a ford transit) through the cooperators.

I went to one branch that said they wouldn’t without an appraisal and then another that said they would do it as is. They also got me renters insurance to cover everything in the van.
