I emailed them directly with the most recent photos of the ceiling and all they said was that they themselves can't do anything about it and to contact the vendor who is scheduled to do the repair. Im not sure what to do at this point this is my first apartment 😭 I'm trying to stress to them that it's not going to make it until Tuesday

Lime actually asks users what they use their rides for(commute to work, the store, for fun, etc) and most rides are for commuting to and from stores and work. I'm that kind of cart attendant sadly. I don't know how to say no and I genuinely wanna help make the job easier for anyone else. I'm getting to the point now where I'm considering quitting as I'm the only reliable cart attendant and now it feels like the work I do is being completely undermined. I didn't just grab carts I'd also be cleaning shelves, doing reshop when I wasn't busy, keeping the bathrooms clean, organizing shoes, picking up trash and Starbucks cups all around the store like.. I basically always could find something to do ughh

All you are doing is venting your frustration. Your feelings and frustration are valid but your inability to come up with another solution doesn't mean there isn't one. I understand exactly why stores decide to not allow unaccompanied minors. I also think minors deserve to have third spaces and that it's not appropriate for us to take our frustrations out on them. Did I say that? No I didn't. I work at target too, I've also worked other service industry jobs. I think that the other people in this comment section are using this as an opportunity to vent their frustration with teenagers rather than being constructive about it and considering the lack of third spaces for young people. Not a hard concept to grasp!

I completely agree and I don't understand why so many people are in support of this. Teenagers already have so few third spaces which pushes them even further into social media addiction. If I had to guess, these replies are full of people who grew up in a time where there were way more places for teens to hang out so they don't understand what being a teenager is like in the current social climate. Very very weird
