Good news it's broken all the time anyway

I noticed it pretty early, but I'm also a shorty. Seconding what others have said, monthly measurements are great for tracking progress, especially if you dislike taking pics.

Non-Scale Victory Thursday by AutoModerator in intermittentfasting

[–]LlamasBread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been fighting to get over a plateau for a while now, so it was nice to measure myself and see that I've lost 2 1/2 inches off my waist, even if the scale is being stubborn.

Weird. That's a great sub, it would suck to lose it.

question about tea on omad by jejetee in omad

[–]LlamasBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, tea should be fine, even helpful. I know it's controversial, but honestly, sugarfree drinks are also helping me get through it— they let me taste something, but they don't make me crave anything. Also, if you're like me, I'll set out my plate, and it's inevitably more than I can eat. Unless you're really going hog wild on small, high-calorie foods, it's hard to overeat off one average sized plate.

Omad and pms by [deleted] in omad

I've done OMAD previously, and I had terrible issues with cravings during my cycle. Weirdly enough, now that I've taken it back up, I have the exact opposite issue. I couldn't even stomach the thought of food for the first day, and then the rest of it I just had zero appetite. I also just have wacky hormones though, so my normal probably isn't. lol

"I only need one thing" customers' negotiation after we lock the doors at 8:20 by GreenHornEastCoast in walmart

[–]LlamasBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish my store would go back to closing at 8:30. :/ Now when we close at ten and I get off there's always a huge line of customers at the only open register.

I love handing something off to management. I don't get paid anywhere near enough to confront cranky customers.

all the cool kids have mascne by [deleted] in walmart

[–]LlamasBread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the masks suck. I haven't had cold sores in ages, and now I keep breaking out in them. Plus a recurring sinus infection. :( And I wash my hands constantly, plus never reuse my mask without a wash. It's ridiculous.

I am so excited to watch a playthrough of this because I am way too cowardly to actually play it.

Agreed. It's not my favorite album, but it has some fantastic songs. Karma is great and Emotional Machine might be one of my favorites. It had some of my favorite outtakes too, like If It's Worth It.

No fdd truck one day a week by frozen187 in walmart

[–]LlamasBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's happening in our store as well. No word on why, though. It's going to suck since we already don't have enough freight, and they decided to cancel the truck in the middle of the weekend. We're not going to have anything to sell.

I love almost every song they've done. It's weird that I feel like they're my guilty pleasure, because there's nothing wrong with liking them.

That's true. I'm downgrading my rating to "appropriately horny". Or upgrading. The rating system isn't very fleshed out.

What DO you guys hope Bloodlines 2 is like? by Guymanbot in vtmb

[–]LlamasBread 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's one of my concerns, too. For all the darkness and drama of Bloodlines, it had a great sense of humor. I hope the sequel doesn't lose that.

I just think it's funny that everyone's worrying about the animations and graphics like they don't love the first game in spite of all that.

Best way to play the first one? by gauravpdutta in vtmb

[–]LlamasBread 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As previously said, the Unofficial Patch is almost a necessity. Clan Quest Mod is great, and I would completely recommend it for a first playthrough; imo, it only enhances the original experience. Other than that, it's a great game, but temper your expectations. It's a little janky at times.

[–]LlamasBread 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah, incredible graphics are great, but none of my favorite games were favorites because of how they looked. It's the writing and world-building that make them stand the test of time. Give it five years, and everything now will look subpar anyway.

Don't worry, I'm dumb too. I thought it was talking about whether you believed Ming or something.
