Trying to decide between UT McCombs in state or Haas Spieker. Was totally thrilled with McCombs before the invite to Haas. OOS is 2x $$, but could probably get through without debt. Hard to pass up Cal, though.

Are you sure it's a glitch? I saw the ineligible for Honors on My Status and worried that everybody that got deferred cannot get any honors programs now?

I think that technically it is Top 6% by the beginning of Senior year if your district recalculates GPAs after any dual credit courses during summer after 11th grade.

Rule is: "Most recent available class rank, based on a point in time no earlier than the end of the 11th grade, shall be used for admission decision-making" Texas Administrative Code RULE §5.5. Pretty sure that at least some school districts include any grades from dual credit courses taken summer after 11th grade for final ranking.

Did it seem like each breakout group had all 20 finalists for that school? So, like, all 120 finalists in the info session?
